Wonderful place to stay in Uptown Dallas

This is a fantastic hotel...great spa, Fearings is amazing, nice pool, complimentary guacamole/margarita tasting in the lobby in the evening . My only complaint is that the pool was so crowded there were no available chaise lounges and just not enough seating. Of course, in August in Dallas most people will be at the pool! I'm sure it would not be as crowded in non-summer months. Also, I would not book this hotel again through Expedia. I booked a package room with breakfast and valet parking including. This was not noted on the reservation the Ritz received from Expedia and they told me this is not uncommon with reservations coming through Expedia. I showed them my email confirmation of what was included in the price I paid and they honored it. But, just a hassle you don't want to deal with when you're paying top dollar for a hotel room.

Pros: The service was excellent!
Cons: Cleaner floor around bed.
Location: Lots to do within walking distance.
Service was wonderful. Location good. All night room service.

Great hotel and location

Pros: The service was very good
Cons: Facilities could be refreshed, renovated
Location: Right in the downtown, good and convenient location
Great hotel and location. Stayed there overnight and it was a very positive experience. Staff is very friendly and attentive to details. The facilities are a bit old however. A bit on the pricey side for a relatively old hotel.

On top of what I paid for the room through hotels.com they charged me also an additional $1,040 and has not refunded me that money yet. Is there anything y'all can do to help me get that fixed

We took a room here because we were attending a birthday dinner for a close friend and knew we wouldn't be in any condition to drive back to Preston hollow .. We love everyone at the Ritz Carlton and Dean's menu is superb as ever
