“Great for motorists”
This property is along the freeway in a zone with little commercial development, so there is nothing to walk to but a convenience store and no public transport. This is as of January 2012 in a rapidly developing area of the Dallas metro, so give it a year and there should be more stuff around there.
It is a brand new property, with squeaky clean pavement all around. The inside is squeaky clean too, and the king room I had was very comfortable. TV choices are not the greatest unless you really like sports (there must be at least six channels of sports). The self-serve breakfast offering is not sumptuous but it is perfectly adequate and well tended to.
I did not have time to use the indoor pool and spa, but it is all new and looks inviting, and there is a small patio just outside it.
A small selection of snacks and sundries is available in a room behind the front desk, and the business center is functional. The free WiFi worked fine for my Kindle at least; that is all I used there.
The staff are friendly, kindly, helpful and low-key. Altogether this hotel is a fine choice for travelers who need only as much as I've described here, and it is currently a real bargain. When the area has become more developed the rates will surely increase.
