well the hotel was nice. The service was great and friendly. My only concern is that te hotel building is a lil bit old, so when you compare it with your usual 5 stars hotel modern hotels. you would probably have some disappointment. The good thing about the hotel location is that it is very close to most old markets (maybe 10-15 drive by taxi). As a general experience the hotel meet my expectations, but for only one thing which is comparing to other 5 stars i have been. other than that it is worthwhile staying in. one last note. If you are a light sleeper. i wont recommend you staying in the 3rd floor as there is a club in the 4th floor, so minor noise could be heard, but it is really faint. This is why i indicated "if your are a light sleeper'

The hotel was good in general, Polite staff - good breakfast and service- but they not responsible for their commitment and provision of the services mentioned in the expedia reservation page. Also the tax charge was more than the amount provided in our reservation.

it is to expensive for this service they even call a cab you have walk around to find a taxi but you dont have many alternatives in damascus
