Damnoen Saduak Vacations
Damnoen Saduak is located some 40 miles (64 kilometers) from Bangkok, the country's capital, and about 65 miles (105 kilometers) from Hua Hin.
It's a missed chance if you limit yourself to the points of interest in Damnoen Saduak because the entire region has been endowed with an abundance of terrific cities, attractions and landscapes. If you're looking for other places to check out, you'll find Ban Pong, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the south, and Nakhon Pathom 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the south.
Approximately 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the east of Damnoen Saduak is Bangkok, a regional city where you go see Asiatique the River Front, Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Central Rama 3 Mall. Queen Sirikit Park, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and Silpakorn University are other good places to visit.
For many, enjoying a new place is as much about food as it is about visiting sites, so take the time to try the food here. No vacation in Thailand would be complete without tasting guay tiew khai (egg noodle) or moo ruan (soft fried pork). Try a Central Thailand, an alcohol-free drink that is very common in Ratchaburi.
And at the end of your trip, load up your gear and bid Damnoen Saduak a fond Laa gòn ná (farewell).
