Holiday Inn Danbury-Bethel at Interstate 84

Hotel was under major renovation and DID NOT disclose this in advance through Expedia nor through their own website. Most hotels close a couple of floors while renovating. This one was renting rooms right in the middle of a torn up hall with construction tools blocking access to the amenities. Many non-working aspects to the room and no phone to the front desk! I was appauled at how they handled the renovation and appauled that they did not disclose it in advance.

Worst experience we have ever had. Will not use that location again even though it is close to our grandchildren.

My stay at the holiday inn was nice and the room was very comfortable and enjoying and i would stay there again.

The hotel is recieving a face-lift, but my room was just dirty...dirt on the window sills, rust on the bath fixtures....

Front desk was friendly and helpfull. The room, sheets, bathroom & carpet were all spotless and clean. Had a non-smoking room and the room did not at all smell like cigareettes like a lot of other hotels do. All major stores and food chains right next to this hotel. I will stay here again. Perfect.

poor wireless connection, but overall a good stay.
