“Danbury”

The room was clean and quite. The continental breakfast was small but had a nice assortment.

“Very satisfactory”

Clean rooms. Continental breakfast very basic, could've had a little more basics to choose from.

“A Comfy Stay”

The overall hotel was very nice. Did have once incidence when the cleaning help did not replace my towels when they took them. They practice a new "Green Policy" on beds & towels that you can specify whether to replace or just remake the bed. I liked that. There was a resturant & bar but I didn't use them. It was a nice comfy stay. Staff was polight. hotel was very clean.

“Convenient stop”

I needed a place to stay en route to NYC and the Maron was convenient (just off I-84), reasonable, and the suite I had was almost extravagant for my overnight stay. The building is a little tricky to find, but it has both indoor and outdoor parking and is clean and spacious if a bit outdated in decor. The internet service was reliable, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. And there are an abundance of gas stations and breakfast spots between the Maron and the highway. I will definitely use it again.

“Cheap, no frills”

This is an oddly designed hotel, probably originally an office building. Our room was just ok, a bit on the small size. Bed was below average in comfort. Many rooms have no exterior windows. Facing the open interior area, there was a slight noise problem, with loud conversations in the lobby (room door had poor seals). Complimentary breakfast was minimal.

“Reasonable hotel choice for Northern Fairfield county.”

Hotel is still looking for identity. Pluses - Location and reasonable price. Clean rooms, (so so bathroom) Minues - Feels tired. Slow elevator. No signage to help find rooms. Room without window. Not my first choice in area, but ok cheaper alternative to Hilton and Marriotts

“Has gone downhill”

We have been stopping here for about 7 years as the mid-point of our holiday travel. The location is good, the access (right off the interstate is easy). The in-house restaurant Vivo is fairly decent (and they offer room service) but pricy for what it is. We have never seen more than one or two tables occupied, so I wonder how fresh the food is. The rooms do not seem to be well-maintained. This year, the carpet in ours was absolutely filthy (or maybe just horribly stained) and the bathroom tiles were cracked and chipping. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable, but an up-grade is certainly in order.

“OK - but not great”

Rooms were clean, but worn. Nothing special - carpets should have been replaced years ago. Beds not great...it was fairly clean though.Chris
