Very outdated. Uncomfortable.

Pros: It's proximity to Adrienne restaurant
Cons: updated. Staff could be in clean clothing.
There was no staff to speak of. There is apparently a newer building which we did not get to stay in. The room was dingy, there was a kitchenette with insulation peeking out from the oven which was alarming. The heater was noisy. The only good thing is that it borders Adrienne restaurant which was delightful. Not an Inn, very much a motel. We were checked in by a gentleman in a filthy sweatshirt.

Excellent value, comfort, recommend for all

This hotel exceeded my expectations based on price and location. The room was immaculate and bed very comfortable. I will stay here again when in the area where there are few other accommodations. A true gem in this very rural area convenient to Pawling, NY where I had s meeting or Danbury. Local shops and restaurants were an unexpected treat.

Pleasant location but not too far from town.

Staff was superb and helpful. Our room was spacious and fantastic. Only rated the overall facility condition as OK because some of the hallways appeared to have some cobwebs in out of the way places, etc.... some of the rooms other than the ones we had appeared to be not as nice as ours. But really would recommend this hotel if you are staying in New Milford. Suspect it is the best place of the several you'd have to choose from. And again, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean.

Not my favorite place to stay

Pros: Guy at the front desk was nice
Cons: Outdated
For $20 more per night you can stay in a much nicer hotel in the Danbury location. This motel needs some serious updating.

where is the exercise room??

Posted Dec 7, 2011
The hotel was great. The room was very nice with a view of the river. I thought there was an exercise room... couldn't find it. I read that there was no breakfast until July 2011. We were there in December 2011.. No breakfast..

Smooth Time at the Rocky River

Nice Motel and location. Room ammenities were good in the upgraded room in the new section. Room and size, and TV were good. A few minor annoyances : a few stains on the carpet, bed should be made with fitted sheet - not flat sheets so they come off in the middle of the night. Overall, I would recommend it.

Strange Place

Posted Jul 6, 2011
The "luxury room" wasn't such a luxury. The bath is vast, and impressive. But soaps were not replaced, even after I went to the office to request soap. I spent five nights there and finally got soap on my last night. The shower wasn't swabbed at any time during my stay. The rest of the bath was spotless. There was an ample desk and workspace but no desk chair. There was no clock in the room. No coffeemaker in the room, but that wasn't a problem since another guest sent the coffeemaker in his room to me. Then getting coffee was interesting. The heating/cooling unit is right next to the bed so had cold air blowing across me which was occasionally uncomfortable. maybe the bed could have been placed differently? It's not a horrid place, because it's kept pretty clean (except for the shower), and it was sparkling clean at check-in. Overall not a bad place, just not what it's marketed to be.
