Great pricePosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Very close to a conference I attended. The price was very good and the room very comfortable and clean.
Location: I was there on business so not able to seek out things to do. There were a lot of brochures available with many options for the Boston area.

Had everything I needed for quick trip to visit the grandchildren and not overspend for a room. Included breakfast which was so worth the price for the overnight stay.

Nice stay, but pillows and wi-fi were terrible.Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, relatively clean, affordable.
Cons: The Wi-fi and the the pillows.
Location: Location was not bad, plenty to do and eat near by.
Everything was fine with the room, but the small square pillows on the King sized bed were a real pain to try and sleep comfortably with. We requested a full size pillow at the desk and they insisted the small ones were normal and all that they had. A real disappointment there. Also, the free wi-fi that was supposedly available in the room was so slow that we couldn't even check our e-mail. Further disappointment. Other than that, nice hotel to stay at.

A Better Bargain than staying in BostonPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Easy to get to, free parking and breakfast, clean, efficient check-in and check-out.
Cons: A large tour group was already eating breakfast. Nowhere to sit. Some food had just been put into warming trays and was still cold.
Location: About 18 miles north of Boston, near Route 1. We headed back into Boston the next day.
We are on a budget and didn't want to pay the price to stay downtown Boston. For 1/3 the price, we had a lovely room, a breakfast with many options, and free parking. It was a great deal!

Nice Little SpotPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: The hotel staff.
Location: This hotel is approximately fifteen miles from Boston and the subway line or any public transportation does not get any where close. If you don't have
The hotel staff was amazing. I wasn't from around the area and they went out of their way to make sure I knew where I was going. They gave me all the maps I needed and made me feel like I was at home. I forgot to bring toothpaste or soap, however; they had me covered. I didn't make it down for any of the breakfast, but when I did walk down, it smelled good. This hotel is approximately fifteen miles from Boston and the subway line or any public transportation does not get any where close. If you don't have a rental car, you must take a taxi cab, which isn't fun.

Pros: Great breakfast that we come to expect from the chain. Comfortable rooms
Cons: Better lighting in the bathroom
Location: Great location, equidistant between our 2 areas we wanted to see, Salem/Cape Ann and Boston.

Mid priced nice and cleanPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Comfotable clean beds and room.
Cons: The granite walls of the shower looked like they could use a scrub brush and the caulking was black in places; a little unsightly but relatively clean
Location: Close to Old Salem Village and Marblehead. Beautiful drive.
It was a little higher than I wanted to pay for one night, however, it was nice with clean comfortable beds. And we needed a hotel in this area.

Solid place.Posted Oct 27, 2013
The staff at the front desk was friendly, helpful and humorous. They helped get us a car to head into Salem and told us some good spots to check out while we were there. The continental breakfast was better and more varied than expected; nice touch on the waffle-makers. The room itself wasn't anything special, but was in good condition.

Worst hotel ever.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Not one thing.
Cons: Hotel needs a total remodel.
Location: The only thing we did was drive to Revere to catch the train into Boston.
This was the worst experience my husband and I have EVER had in a hotel. Staff was nice; however, we had reserved a king, non-smoking room. They gave us a double, smoking room and told us there were no more rooms available. We also asked if the train station was nearby and was told yes, when in fact it was 10 minutes away in another town. The hotel itself was old, and felt very unclean, wouldn't even put our clothes in the dresser. First room had double beds, one of the beds mattress rolled to the middle; you were literally down in a hole. Next morning they said they would move us to another room, sounded great. It was late when we returned to the hotel and they put us in the only room left, a handicap room with a terrible smell. The shower had a handheld spray nozzle that just barely trickled and water went all over the bathroom floor. Furniture was old and beat up. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone and would actually dissuade anyone we could from staying there. I don't see this hotel getting many repeat visitors. We don't stay in fancy, expensive hotels; just wanted a nice clean place to stay for a couple of days, this was not it!
