HorriblePosted Sep 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There were welfare people living all over the hotel. Some of the people were on drugs and begging for cigarettes from my husband. The walls were thin and the wall paper was pealing and the room was very dark. I also had a roach in the room and was very uncomfortable while I was staying there. We were worried about our car and room getting broke into. I think we should had been told about the live ins before we booked. I wish I had looked at other people's reviews on yelp before I booked because no one had anything good to say about the hotel. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Stay awayPosted Sep 6, 2012
Pros: The towels were decent.
This hotel has become a housing unit for the low income. People live long term here. My room - the TV did not work, the air conditioner leaked, the carpet was wet. Leak stains on the ceiling and torn wallpaper on walls. The free breakfast - well, unsurpervised children from the long term residents would clear out all the food taking it in baggies for the rest of the day. The parking lot became a playground for all these children. The broken TV mentioned to the staff but they didn't seem to care. Overall - welcome to THE HOOD!!! Never stay here - it insults the Days Inn chain which are normally very good.

Never againPosted Aug 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
I think that more people were living at this hotel than just staying. People were talking loudly all night and then kids started running around early in the morning. The police showed up our first morning for some domestic dispute and we got the impression they were there many times. I have stayed at some questionable places before in my life, but this was the first time I really thought about just losing the money and going elsewhere. Did not feel safe at all. Rooms are okay, but need serious updating and our air conditioner didn't work very well either. I will never stay there again.

NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!!Posted Aug 1, 2012
Location: Close to Boston and Cape Ann
This place was absolutely awful. They have a bunch of "live in " guests who are loud amd always outside hanging out with their music, beer and massive amounts of children playing near your cars. We are pretty sure we smelled drugs and even saw drug deals going on. The hotel is run down to put it lightly and although they say they have a pool they do NOT have a usable pool. It is a pool of weeds surrounded by trash such as nasty old shoes and clothing. The internet does not work worth anything. The tv has like 10 channels. You cannot get a microwave or fridge. Breakfast was gross...stale bread and plain donuts. Our toilet did not flush. There was always trash and stagnant water puddles ourside our door. The ice machines barely workes. The staff was not friendly. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I think they need to audit their cleaning staff and get rid of the welfare families that live there!!

Not a place for touristsPosted Jul 16, 2012
Pros: Easy to find and next to Denny's
Cons: The concern for our own safety and worried our car and contents may be harmed.
As soon as we arrived we felt very uneasy. I felt like I was driving into an inner city neighborhood with adults and children hanging around as if they lived there (I think they did). We booked 2 nights but when the police showed up twice during the first night, I knew we had to leave. We did not feel safe.
