“Excellent stay for a good rate.”

Definitely worth the price. Clean, nice-smelling, relatively quiet considering the location next to the highway. (Also, the police station is less than a block away--and they drive by routinely--great security) Mini-fridge and microwave were a huge bonus. Bed was hard, but I like it that way. I definitely would recommend this motel. No frills, but great for the 5 nights I was there.

“Salem? Sleep here!”

My sister and I are staying here while visiting Salem for Haunted Happenings. I'm impressed with this quaint little motel. For the price and the season, it was a bargain without sacrificing too much. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are standard, no frills like mints on the pillow or room service, but they are clean and efficient. There are no coffee makers, blow dryers or irons in the room. The lobby is small, there's a couple vending machines and a continental breakfast... Simple but it gets the job done. The restaurant up the hill? Forget it. There's electric wires running through the place that buzz and vibrate (have you ever watched Ghost Hunters and heard them refer to a fear cage?) My sister got sick from sitting in there for less then 10 minutes. If you're not opposed to sitting on your bed and eating, call for delivery from one of the many restaurants that will deliver. Trust us, with the way the roads are set up going out to look for something leaves you cranky and hungry. The roads are horrible. There's one way highways all around here and we were using GPS constantly, and even that was difficult.

“Surprisingly nice room for the price.”

I was leary about getting this room, because I've had some horrible experiences at various Knights Inns. I was proven completely wrong. The hotel staff was wonderfully helpful and the room was clean. The only downside to the room as the bed wasnt very comfortable but I'm betting that varies from room to room. This hotel isnt fancy but its clean and it fit my budget. I would and probably will stay here again.

We will definately be staying here again on our next visit to Salem...this hotel made the trip wonderful...the staff was so friendly, the room was very nice and clean and the location was perfect for a small commute into Salem everyday.

Great Experience!! Quick trip to Salem which is good and also a good trip to Boston. Continental Breakfast was included and it was ideal. Great Experience and I recommend this hotel.

“great place to use for a base for sightseeing”

the place was great we used it as a base for sightseeing from rockport to cape cod, the staff were very helpfull and very polite nothing was to much trouble for them , from getting directions for our trips to directions to different eateries in the area, the rooms were spotless and alwayy looked inviting upon our return would definatly recomend

The room was clean, and comfortable. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available at all hours. I would definitely go back.
