Great location and staff

Loved that it had a restaurant attached and a HUGE mall behind it we could walk to in 2 minutes. It's only a 30 minute drive to Martinsville speedway. Free breakfast and friendly staff make this a great choice

Convenient location for house restoration

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: Staff, location and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Soundproofing of rooms.
This is the third time I have stayed at this Comfort Inn. I prefer the variety of breakfast offerings compared to similar hotels in the area. This was the first time that I stayed with my pet and was surprised to find that there was an additional $50 fee. We were placed on the first floor which was convenient for easy in and out with our dog. However, noise from other rooms and the hallway had our dog on alert for most of the night so our rest was not as good as in the past. Next time we leave the dog at home.

Nice hotel in heart of Danville

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Queen beds no doubles
Rooms were clean, a little musty smell but a spray of perfume took care of that. Could not get room with 2 queen beds...(family of 3) so had to book a room with 2 doubles worked but cramped...

Cons: I think the hotel needs an upgrade. It is showing age
Location: The location was in Danville and we already had planned things to do.

Needed to stay in Danville Va for one night, and this hotel was conveniently located and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was tasty. TV was terrific. Great shower! Everything was in good repair.

We were there for my graduation

Posted Dec 17, 2013
Pros: The continental breakfast was good, the attached bar was nice
Cons: Having a policy that states that if you have a dog that they need to be kept quiet and not be allowed to bark and run the hallway before 7am.
The hotel was nice and the continental breakfast was great. The only negative comment I would give the hotel is that they allow dogs and the owners of the dogs allowed them to bark at 4am and run up and down the hallway.

I used Expedia for the first time and will never use them again. The hotel they ofered wasn't even close to what we normally are use to and were but into anything fancy got clean and friendly. The Comfort Inn was anything besides comfortable. I never stay in smoking rooms I can't stand the smell of old cigerite odors and when I asked the staff to exchange my room to a no smoking she coped a attitude and said that's what was booked. Believe me I would never get a smoking room. It was so bad everything smelled like smoke I had to keep the outside door open all the time just to get some fresh air and on top of it the weather turn cold but I had to it opened. If your looking for a good hotel I would recommend calling the visitors office for a recommendation. I could go on about the air plane reservation Expedia made for me wasn't that great ether for the price I paid for first lass There a lot of travel options out there I would personally not use Expedia ever again.
