Danyang is situated 85 miles (137 kilometers) south of Sokcho and about 85 miles (137 kilometers) southeast of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
Even though this region is off the main tourist trail, there are plenty of things to experience around Danyang. Yeongju, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northwest, and Yechon, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the north of Danyang are good places to visit if you're keen on learning more about this region.
