“A fantastic little hotel”

This is a small boutique hotel which is beautifully laid out, has really nice rooms, friendly staff, views over the sea to the west which gives lovely sunsets. The rooms were clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful, though I never managed to get the in-room safe working, despite several attempts by the hotel staff, and some of the electrical sockets on the desk didn't work, but there were no shortage of others. The breakfast buffet was really good - quality and variety. We found that all fried food at the evening meal was very greasy, and we learnt to avoid this kind of food; when these meals were removed from the menu, the remainder were very good, but obviously with more limited choice. The pool and sundeck were very peaceful and quite delightful. Two shopping precincts were a short taxi ride away. The restaurant at Slipway is excellent.
