Good enough for the price, but no elevator! Staff was helpful, slept well!

Good budget hotel.

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Great staff, good price.
Cons: Breakfast bar was not very well stocked, but considering the price one cannot except too much.
Location: It's right off the Interstate. Very convenient. There is a shopping mall next door.
There is not a great deal to say, except that this is a better-than-average hotel with excellent staff, all at a very reasonable price. I recommend it highly for budget-conscious travelers.

Friendly staff

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient to highway and Jekyll Island.
Cons: Bathroom remodel.
Location: Jekyll Island was close by as well as Fort King George and Brunswick.
The staff was really friendly. The first rooms bathroom was not clean and the room had no lamp. The staff changed us to another room which was much better. The carpet was clean, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom has had a really bad remodel job. I would probably stay again if I was in the area. The pool has not been updated so it was closed.

decent hotel for the price

Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Price, location
Cons: MAIN CONCERN: WIFI worked but was so slow as to be worthless, finally gave up!
Location: Historic Darien, small towns like Meridian and Sapelo Island which was great!
Great place undergoing some renovations/improvements, very close to I 95 and an outlet/antique mall, gas stations, convenience stores etc. Front desk clerks very nice, hot breakfast with waffles, eggs etc. WiFi was very slow, actually worthless unless you waited 5 minutes for every page to load!

Night audit clerk was rude.

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Night clerk insisted that I pay at check in even though I showed him my Expedia receipt showing that I have paid in full. Was very rude when I refused to sign the slip. Manager gave me credit the following morning but it still tied up my funds until after the long weekend. Room smelled musty, was not very clean.
