“Great hotel”

Hotel was very clean and spacious. Room was well organized and had everything I needed for my trip. Hotel is well located within a casual walk to downtown with the souvenir shops, restaurants and pubs.

“Great Value for the Price”

The hotel was comfortable and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was as described by Expedia.

“Darwin Central OK”

The room I had was quite large with a sofa and chair and a small kitchen. The hotel did not provide a non dairy creamer for coffee. The hotel did not have a HIGH SPEED internet service and the dial up was extremely slow. The food court wasn't open for dinner. There are plenty of internet cafe's nearby and at least two of them will allow you to hook up a laptop to their system and they were cheap. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel charges Australian $12.00 a day for parking a car in the hotel garage.

“Darwin Central Hotel”

Hotel was great, very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The only disappointment was that the laundry and ice machine are on the 3rd floor and locked from 10 PM to 8AM. The staff would retreive ice at any hour but if you want to get your laundry done, don't plan on doing it in the middle of the night (as I do when traveling). Save $13 AUD by parking on the street at night (after 5PM to 8AM).

“Great location, clean, modern, friendly”

Stayed three days on vacation. The staff were helpful. The corridors and rooms were clean, amply sized and comfortable. The Indian restaraunt is a bit pricy (AU$7 for rice), but has dishes I hadn't seen elsewhere--curried puffed corn with a bit of spinach was particularly interesting. The hotel is in the downtown core, and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, and a 15 minute walk to the harbor.
