Well worth money. Always busy but staff listened to you while you booked in. We had early check in and was no problem.

great locationPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: location, view, comfort
Cons: The breakfast buffet was ok but could be improved with a bit more variety.
My daughter and I had a great stay at this hotel. It is close to the beach with lovely harbour views and is also close to restaurants, bars and the waterfront area. I would definately stay there again.

Very happy, comfortable stay.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Good location, not too far from main st shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Good air con but can open balcony door if too cold.
Cons: More than 200mb free data per day would be good. Bathrooms have been very modernised but hate the "not very" non see through bathroom door.
Location: Only 5 min walk to number of good breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurants. Hotel overlooks extensive park next to ocean, lovely spot to wander.
While this was built early 70's, (survived cyclone Tracey), it's been updated and maintained beautifully. Well worth paying the little extra for the rooms with a view. The late check out plus comfortable lounge area with secure baggage room is very handy if you have one of Darwin's many late night flights.

Nice hotel to stay at however counter staff and housekeeping are transient backpackers no milk in room had to right a note for them to put milk in room the following day again no milk so bought our own. Next time I am in Darwin I will stay elsewhere.

Great hotel with fantastic viewPosted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Staff very helpful, lovely spacious room with million dollar view. Close to shopping, restaurants, and things to do and see.
Cons: Laundry room needed cleaned.
Location: Near Stokes Hill, Smith Street Mall, many restaurants and bars, waterfront, Aquasence.
Lovely hotel within walking distance of everything in the downtown area with an attached restaurant. Had the good fortune to be there over 100th anniversary of ANZAC celebrations which was very interesting and educational.

Our new favourite hotel in Darwin.Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
We often go to Darwin for our "weekend off". It was our wedding anniversary, so we decided to try somewhere different. We were greeted efficiently by a very friendly receptionist, who upgraded us to an ocean view room, which was great. The warm cookies were a great welcome to all the guests. A lovely view, beautiful bed and fantastic pillows, topped off a great hotel experience A surprise of a bottle of champagne awaited us when we returned from dinner. Thanks so much!!

Break awayPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: Clean room, friendly staff ,good location, easy walk to places.
Cons: Had to ask for milk for coffee and extra towels cups etc as only provided for two when we were three guests.
Lovely few days in Darwin, although quite humid. Hotel cooled us nicely. Interesting things to see, good food. Very picturesque foreshore.
