Great views, very scenic from oceanfronts to the sunrise and sunsets. I love that the pool water temps are perfect for swimming and not ice cold. Clear beach water, see through to the bottom. Friendly staff. Wish more water activities were available and at earlier times. Certain times during the day are jist too hot to commence. Id rather a 6AM or 7AM slot be available to beat the sun. Rooms should be available earlier than 2PM upon request. Literally had to lug around my book bag and couldn’t change into my swimwear because it was with my luggage bag. That I feel should be fixed.

One of the best in the Philippines
One of the best resorts in the Philippines, PF has an amazing beach and a warm and professional staff to match. All guests were treated like VIPs. No distinction as to type of accommodation. The food was great. The amenities were well-maintained. Simply amazing. I will go back.

Friendly, attentive staff. Quiet, relaxing resort atmosphere. Clean, comfortable rooms. Only complaint was the shower goes back and forth from hot to cold, but I guess you’ll have that when staying in a room over water.

best place for honeymooners
We booked Pearl farm as a honeymoon resort - and it was amazing. everything from the boat ride (with a welcome tune by the staff), to the room (overlooking the sea), to the food (with a special live guest entertainer every night), to just walking around the resort and finding new and exciting animals and scenery. imagine the most perfect beach you've ever been, now imagine it's only yours... snorkeling is super cheap, friendly fish (and the staff will bring you bread crumbs for feed), and it's so quiet. we stayed for a week, and while initially we thought it might be boring, we absolutely had an amazing time. the staff was so friendly and welcoming, every little need was attended to without problem, food was really excellent (changing day by day and with a huge variety). if you're a couple on a honeymoon, this is the place for you! and yeah, it really looks that amazing ;-)

Loved everything from arrival to departure. We stayed 3 nights and I was tempted to add another but my schedule did not allow. I just wish they had a couple more jetskis. Other than that, I'm looking forward to my return trip

We had wonderful time at the Pearl Farm! Service was impeccable, friendly, non intrusive and staff are all willing to help and are respectful! The wait staff at the restaurant were very kind, attentive and extra nice.

The resort is nice & clean even if its age is showing a bit, the location is nice esp it being on white sand compared to mainland, & staff are generally friendly. Although it being the only 5-star resort our expectations were much higher. - there has been a number of instances where I was greeted but not my wife; tip: be more conscious of acknowledging all guests as each is still a paying customer - dining - food was just ok; nothing special to mention - salad bar ingredients were incoherent & lacked some key ingredients (tomatoes, eggs) - bacon was sub-par; tip: stick with typical American streaky bacon - lacked showcasing Davao, Samal & Kadayawan Festival - no abundance of local fruits displayed; surprisingly no mangosteen served - no festival info or festive feel, apart from the one sign at reception - no info or tourism collaboration with other Samal attractions - tip: have some Davao/Mindanao cultural activities/features once in a while - lacked showcasing Pearl Farm past/history - resort map & attractions not handed on arrival, not available in rooms, none posted on premises - tip: sell more cheap pearl & indigenous items - water sports provider - staff was not accommodating & friendly & unaware of the weather conditions - booking guidelines unclear - tip: review your provider’s service - when I had a stomach bug I was still charged for Imodium/Biogesic; tip: basic medicine should be free or reasonably priced

Pearl Farm is beautiful but the staff are what makes it an excellent place to visit. There is a need for many updates, there are some things missing in the small details, but overall it's beautiful and such a relaxing time.

A perfect piece of paradise.
Leaving this perfect piece of paradise was difficult. The staff were all so naturally welcoming and pleasant without going over the top. The Samal house was immaculately presented and exactly what I had hoped for. The facilities and catering were just right. In summary; I can’t wait to go back again.

Very nice staff. Very relaxing place. Nice beach and pool. Dinner entertainment each night was nice. 24 hour room service was convenient. We enjoyed our stay. Food was good, however some buffet food should have been iced (salad bar, cold meats, etc) Since it was an open room, birds would sometimes land on the uncovered food making it very unsanitary. Some activities (games, music, etc) would have been welcomed.
