“Dump”
Very poor hotel. Breakfest was white bages and white bread...thats it. Milk was siting out in a pitcher, no ice , worse breakfest ever had for a hotel. ( had to eat out for breakfest ) Side door was broken and held open with a breck. No security door open all the time. Windown and carpeting dirty and stained......very poor quality hotel for expedia if I could get my money back Would be nice. DO NOT LIST this hotel
“won't ever stay there again.”
there is one person that runs the motel 24 hours a day. he's always gone from the desk; doing something. several people had to wait while he took a shower, so they could check out. the ice machine wasn't working. the candy in the vending area was out of code.[ chocolate was crumbled and dis-colored] the entry carpet was dirty and stained. the place maybe called the fairborn inn, but the sign says it's a comfort inn. if that's how comfort inns are allowed to operate, i'll never stay at another.
“In need of repairs”
The front desk staff person was friendly; entry and hallway carpets were quite stained; walls were damaged with evidence of leaking; towel shelf in bathroom broken; hair dryer pulled partially from wall although it was operational;NO BEDBUGS.
“economic hotel for travelers”
I am okay with the hotels conditions and I like the low price.
“Will never go there again”
The hotel was dirty and falling apart. There was a hole in the wall in the lobby and the security door coming into the hotel from outside had a broken handle and anyone could enter the hotel through that door. The room we were supposed to get was to have a king sized bed they gave us a room with two double beds, the room was dirty and the wall paper was coming down. There were no towels in the room when we arrived and the staff was not very friendly. Over all stay was very bad and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
“NOT impressed”
Good thing it was cheap. Except for the free WIFI it was pretty awful.
“Fairborn Comfort Inn Needs Work”
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel since January 2011. The first visit was in the middle of winter and so the environment was cold and dismal and the hotel seemed "dirty," but I just gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, this stay was in June, and I must say that the condition of the hotel certainly does not live up to the "Choice" Branded hotels; especially the visions of the hotels they have been promoting in their recent advertising campaigns. The wall paper is peeling off the walls in most of the common areas, the floors (carpets) are dirty, and the there is an overwhelming offensive odor which permeates throughout the hotel. Who ever is the District Manager and/or Franchise Supervisor is not doing their job in ensuring the consumer that the "Choice" brand quality exist at this facility.
“Never Again”
What a dump. I know when we booked the hotel that is was a cheaper "mid-grade" hotel but WOW. we had a late check-in, 2 a.m. Our first room (after we unpacked) had no water, after calling down to the front desk, He offered to "just let us take a shower in another room"?!?!? Obviously that didn't work for us. Our second room apparently had not been cleaned, there were used towels on the bathroom floor and an overall "untidyness" about the room, crumbs on the desk, lint on the floor, ect. After calling back down to the front desk, he offered to let my male co-worker and I to share a King size bed in a different room?? are you kidding me?!?!? Not an experience I'll soon forget and not a hotel I will stay in again.
“Not Ipressed”
Along with the previous comment, the carpeting in our room was dirty and had holes in it. The "hot tub" did not have hot water, it was only warm. As I said, my husband is disabled and we were looking forward to the hot tub easing some aches and pains. He called the front desk and received nothing. "No one else has complained." The breakfast was the same ole, same ole. I thought that for the price we would have a much nicer place. But it was close to the places we wanted to go.
“did not meet expectations”
This hotel did not meet the standards of Comfort Inn. The carpets were dirty and the staff was not very helpful. The overall ambiance of the hotel was very gloomy and the hallways were very dirty. I would not stay at this hotel again.
