Broken toilet

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Toilet was broken and had 1 adult and 3 children in room. Had to use the lobby bathroom all day and night. Lobby bathroom was dirty and had to get toilet paper for lobby. Pathetic. Were excited for "famous cinnamon rolls" that were advertised however lady in kitchen said manager forgot to order them so they didn't have any.... Really...

I am truly sorry for your bad experience at our hotel. The first question that I would have for you is did you alert the front desk to the issue of the toilet. We always try to take care of those important issues as soon as possible. I can assure you that, that is not the way we take care of our guests. Please consider giving us another chance to show you how we really treat our guests.

Excellent engaged staff but the worst shuttle ever

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was very pleasant and engaged.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was disappointing for a Holiday Inn. No bananas, oatmeal or yogurt as I would find in most Holiday Inns.
When your first and last experience with a hotel is their airport shuttle, you would think that the shuttle would have shock absorbers. This was absolutely the most unpleasant ride I have ever experienced on a hotel shuttle. At first I thought it was the road conditions, but when we finally got onto a brand new paved stretch of highway the ride was still excruciating! I did report this condition to three different drivers and the front desk staff and all acknowledged my concern.

Smells like an ashtray

Posted Sep 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff was very kind and polite and the location was fine. Unfortunately, the room I was in was not up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards. My room was technically a non-smoking room, but it was readily apparent that it had once been designated for smoking. It still smelled like an ashtray and years of smoke were vividly brought back to life ever time the A/C unit turned on its fan. Also, the bathroom itself is in need of "freshening up" as there were cracks in the shower and along the wall. The hotel just feels very tired and could use some restoration.

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The breakfast and nice location.
Cons: Nothing in particular, but maybe a microwave oven
Location: Plenty of shopping and if you are a golfer there are several located nearby also the added attraction of the newly casino made it fun for everyone.
The staff was very friendly and the room were very comfortable

On the way Home

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Close to the highway and easy to find. Clean room.
Cons: Our room the bathroom had a squeaky fan so we couldn't use that when in the shower. You could hear light music in the bathroom. Weird.
Location: Close to lots of restaurants and I-70.
Nice and clean. The pool was a little on the cool side for me.

Comfortable beds

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Cons: Get WiFi to work and heat up the pool and cool down the hot tub.
Room was clean, but WiFi didn't work. Beds were comfortable and pillows as well. The indoor pool was very cold and the hot tub overly hot. Paid extra so I could have an indoor pool and hot tub, but really didn't use them. Actually paid more on Expedia than people just coming in without a reservation. They slipped a bill under my door with my name and someone else's address. Free breakfast was nothing special.

This is an "easy on - easy off" stop, decent hotel, good free breakfast at an early hour.

Comfortable with adjoining room to Grandma

Posted Apr 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed two nights. Enjoyed the pool and spa. Breakfast quick and simple. Friendly staff with efficient housekeeping. Would recommend when visiting the area. They put us in adjoining rooms which was fun for the kids to say goodnight to Grandma.
