Paper thin walls.

Very, very noisy hotel. Had to call security 2:00am, after somebody else had called them earlier. I know hotels can't help what their clientele do, but it was ridiculous. I seriously thought a woman was being beaten to death. That coupled with every toilet flushing, cough, shower running and laugh sounding like it was right in my room was not conducive to rest. We did get a free breakfast for 1 as recompense. Very friendly front desk manager. I won't go back though b/c of paper thin walls.

Nice hotel in good location

Pros: I liked the staff and the location and the cleanliness of hotel.
Cons: The restaurant needs to hire more staff and the elevators seemed to always have the heat cranked up.
Location: The University of Dayton is across the street and there are several restaurants within a 20 minute walk.
We were in town for a funeral and had to book this hotel at last minute. The hotel was in a good location, but room was small and no rollaway bed was available. The double beds were small and no queen size beds available. The breakfast was good but service was very slow. The pool was nice.

Convenient and Comfortable

This is a nice hotel. It is centrally located and very close to University of Dayton. The room was very clean and comfortable. However, when I checked in, it seems that the hotel was basically empty (stayed in April of 2014) but the front desk put me on the 2nd floor, and they were re-finishing the parking lot. I suppose I wish that I had been put on a higher floor or on the back of the hotel to avoid some of the noise, but at the same time I did not ask to be moved.

The rooms were a bit small, but everything was very clean and nice. My kids loved the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the hotel on Sunday morning. The location seemed a bit odd (and the outside of the hotel was kind of dingy looking), but it was nearby UD and the Dayton Art museum. And we enjoyed using the complimentary shuttle to the Art museum (for the wedding we were attending).

Surprise

This was not my first stay with Marriott, overall everything was very good. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the mattress and towels. I was surprised that a Marriott would have such poor quality items I their hotel.
