“OMG”

I saw a roach when walking down the hall to the stairs to get to my room. Got to the room it was out dated like everything come from a place that has been torn down. Crack in the wall, chair worn out with holes, bathreoom toilet brown ring. Base boards not together with hols. T.V. In a corner where you could not sit anbnd look at it cause your head is always up. You have to laydown to watch T.V. So your neck don't hurt! The hotel looks really great outside...but don't be fooled!

“Dayton Microtel”

Basic bed and bath. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The mattresses are well worn and need replacing. The remote for the TV was filthy.

This hotel is okay for its price. Room is old and small, but quite clean.

“If you are not a smoker, don't book a room here!”

Our smoke-free room smelled like smoke, the refrigerator clicked all night.

“OK stay, but don't plan on watching TV”

An OK stay, standard accommodations, clean and comfortable enough. My complaint is the TV location. It's high on top of a closet. To watch TV "semi" comfortably, you have to lay down on the bed. But with only two soft pillows propping yourself up against a hard head board it still wasn't very comfortable. If you tried to watch from the only chair in the room, which was a small desk chair, you get a stiff neck.

“Awful, Awful,Awful!!”

Well, this was the worst Hotel room ever! I am not a picky person about hotel rooms, as I am not used to 5 star Hotels. A clean room and Shower is all I need. This room was awful! The towel Bar was broke off in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was broke so everytime you pulled on the paper it flew off the holder. Dirty socks from someone else in the drawer. The bed was awful! We were there 2 nights and the second night My back hurt so bad I had to run hot water and lay in the bathtub to get relief from the pain. HMMM! My back did not hurt when I returned home the next night. Imagine that! Oh and the pillows were 1/8" thick. You had to fold it 4 times to get the thickness of a normal pillow. Simple maintence and cleaning would have made this room so much better. My Mom and Dad had a room also and their room was almost as bad. The outside of Hotel was nice. Don't judge anything about the cover. Beware of the inside!!

“Shady Hotel - Not suitable for families”

We were not very pleased when we got to the Microtel. We chose this particular hotel because it was close to a concert venue we were going to. It was just two girls travelling and, therefore, safety was a big issue for us. The doors to access the rooms were off to the sides and rather dark at night. There was a mattress laying outside on the grass next to the door we had to get to our room from. Our room had horrible lighting and the bathroom was barely lit enough to shower. There were hairs on the comforters of the bed and a large dark mirror (that looked suspiciously like a two-way mirror- so much so in fact, that we both changed only in the bathroom and tried to check the backing several times.) Maybe we were slightly paranoid being two young girls travelling alone, but all in all, it was pretty sketchy. After the concert, we were told by a police officer to be careful, because our hotel was known as a "prostitution hot-spot". I'm not here to judge, but based on these observations, I don't feel that the hotel is suitable for families or solo travellers. No hotel is perfect, but my friend and I both agreed that if we ever went back to that area, we would definitely pay more for a nicer hotel.

“convenient situation to visit the US Air Force museum in Dayton”

Nice hotel, very quiet and comfortable, outside of the city. With good restaurant and shopping area (green) within 15 minutes driving time , but nothing in the immediate vicinity. Happy I was there and will return if I go again in Dayton.
