Hotel close to a lot of restaurantsPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: I loved the location
Cons: Working refrigerator, clean looking bed linen and washcloth
Location: There is a lot of nice restaurants close by. We looked up a TGI Friday and it was only 3 mins away. We had enough stripes points to eat for free.
Location was perfect. We needed somewhere to stay close to airport and something that didn't cost a lot being we wasn't going to be there long. Sheets on the bed looked dirty and the fridge didn't work. We called front desk and spilled our concerns and nothing was done about it. There was hair on the linen we were suppose to take a shower with. When we checked out I just politely told the girl at front desk that next time the place needs to be a little cleaner. All in all I love the location, close to a lot of different restaurants.

hard to findPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms were nice and staff was nice, very difficult to find. Apparently it is in Vadalia not Dayton, punching Dayton into GPS puts you in a residential area, where Poe ave is less then a block.

It was a bed...Posted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We reserved a non-smoking room. To get to our room, you had to walk through the hall where all the smoking rooms where. The smoke smell was strong enough to be noticed in our room down the hall. The location is not convenient off the highway. It was a little ways down, right next to the highway but there was no exit by the hotel. With all that said, the staff was friendly and helpful. They welcomed us kindly, late in the evening. The morning staff helped clean a spill with a smile.

Good enough, but not good.Posted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
It looks as if the hotel is changing ownership and chain affiliation. Quite a few rough spots here and there. For example, what used to be the pool is filled in with rubble. I guess there won't be a pool anymore, but it has not been covered over. The night time reception staff was less than welcoming, but that's only one person, so don't take it too seriously. Breakfast was good enough. The room itself was good enough. In the end, one must ask the question, "Would you stay there again?". My answer is no. There are better places around at the same price.

checked in just for an overnight stay as we were visiting friends in Dayton; difficult to find the front door of the hotel - no signage; general atmosphere very unwelcoming - dark lobby and hallways; cinder block walls, uncomfortably hard bed... we only stayed 2 hours before leaving and finding a better place to stay.... yes, it was cheap, but I expected a 'little' better... ideal place for folks who are on the road late at night who just need a place to crash until first light.

Yes, if you smoke and don't need a restful night.Posted Jun 9, 2013
If you are looking for non-smoking room, do not stay at this hotel. There is none. They do not keep track of your preference. Nor are the toaster ovens and coffee maker are working. The smoke alarms go off on their own to add to the A/Cs are annoyingly noisy. So, if you are a smoker and do not care about a restful night, you can stay here.

You get what you paid forPosted Jun 8, 2013
There was a strong cigar smell in the hallways. The bathtub had a "slimey" feel to it when taking a shower. There was an employee taking towels to be laundered and he was walking around shirtless. I know the hotel itself was very cheap, but I would not stay here again and would rather spend the extra to stay at a better place.
