“Will go back again”

There are only a few things I can complain about. This hotel is very much south of all the fun hot spots where college students are having a blast. But if you want peace and quiet, it was in the perfect spot. On first arrival, the hotel is really run down, and I was disgusted actually. But once we got into the room, it was amazing. We had an oceanview room and it was beautiful. I feel for the view I didn't pay enough money. It was amazing. I will go back there again.

“Beachside Retreat”

For the money, I am hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Daytona Beach. Was arriving late so they left my keys (Yes real keys!) in a lock box on the front of the property. The facility was older, but VERY well maintained. The bed was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking utensils. The carpets looked new, and the view from the balcony was great even though we had a 1st floor room. We got a special and paid half price for the room, making it cheaper than a motel 6! But I will return at full price if need be, it was worth that much or more! Another advantage to it being old is that the walls are thick enough that you couldn't hear the college kids on other floors who had had a bit too much to drink. An added plus was that even though the hotel says no wifi, what the really mean is no IN ROOM wifi. There is wifi available in the lobby and laundry area for no extra charge. The only con's I can come up with is one of the sofa sleeper beds was broken, and the yellow wall paint job was not that attractive. I would without a doubt stay here again!

We were complimentary upgraded from a room facing opposite the beach to a room facing the beach. This wasn't just a room -- it was just like a 1 bedroom apartment. We had a balcony overlooking the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. We liked making our on breakfast and being able to easily cut our own fruit. The fridge is full-size. The kitchen even had a dishwasher! Honestly -- the room looked exactly like in the pictures. Very pleased. This isn't luxury, but it is great value for money. Unfortunately the pool wasn't heated, and there is no jacuzzi -- but oh well can't win them all.

Great Price, Great Rates, Great Location!! Clean, comfy rooms. Wished they had flat screens and a DVD player though.

“Few frills, but a superior value & location”

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I consider it to be an outstanding value. Prospective guests must understand that the front desk is not staffed after 5:00p until the following morning... and daily maid service is not offered. But the hotel staff is very attentive and accomodating and can be reached for urgent needs off hours by telephone. This is a non-smoking hotel and I wish the management would extend the policy to include the balcony. While Beach Quarters may not be for everyone, my expectations were met 100%. And the location cannot be beat!

“Great experience”

This was our second stay at the motel. The location is great, the staff was very accomodating and our room was ready when we arrived a little early. We enjoy the privacy of the motel, it is a very quiet motel which we really liked. Would definitely stay there again.

“Wow! We were surprised!”

We were a bit concerned after reading the reviews and had decided that if it wasn’t nice, we would leave. HOWEVER, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. In fact, it was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in even though it isn’t one of the newest. You can tell that it’s been around awhile but everything was in good working condition and was clean. We cooked pizzas in the oven, ran the dishwasher, and filled the refrigerator. All worked nicely. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist us in every way. The pool was nice and clean. No hot tub but who needs it when the beach is so close. We will definitely stay at the Beach Quarters again. Hopefully, sooner than later.
