The room we had was definitely not an updated room. The stove was coming apart and refrigerator was all rusted and microwave looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Dust on top of pictures. The beds are the worst I have ever slept in at a hotel, the floor would have been just as comfortable. My bed fell apart the first night and had to set the leg under it. They say that the sea wall was supposed to be open by this spring and the pool by summer of 2024 but by the looks of it, I don’t think that will happen. The pictures that are posted online are not what my room looked like. I wouldn’t be complaining about it if I would have had one of those rooms.

For the price, is not bad, but I have a dog and she discover to many empty food packages under the beds. The room smells good and you have everything you need, but is too old. The carpet was broken and the ceiling too. The staff were great. The breakfast was light.

Theyre still recovering from the hurricans of 2022, but our room was clean. The staff were great, very accommodating, and we would stsy there again. It's a no-frills stay, but thats what we were looking for for a short weekend getaway.

Good location, close to lots ,Ormond beach, New Symnra beach,and popular restaurants beaches, wish they would have had their break wall and pool repaired. Kitchenette was in ruff shape , plumbing was usable condition but could use some updates. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfasts were great.

The room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Be aware the pool was destroyed by the hurricane last year. The hotel should at least put a cover on it. The room was smelly so was the bedding. The lobby was super cute with a lite breakfast. The coffee machine was a bonus. There was a least 10 different choices.

Even we knew that the pool and beach access were closed, the balcony was dirty. I wanted to take my coffee sitting on the chair looking at the ocean but it was very dirty The toilet seat was used, I never stayed at a hotel where the toilet seat has black marks on it. Why can’t it be changed? Coffee is very good I liked the beach decor inside the hotel

they are still recovering from the hurricane several years ago. So the outside is not up to snuff! But the inside we just fine and the staff was very cordial and helpful

The staff is so amazing and friendly Great place The condition of outside was not perfect but that was due to Mother Nature not property owners. They made sure they texted me about exterior at time of booking and checked on me before check in and that says a lot. They made me feel at home and safe.

Was a great little hotel for the Daytona 500. The staff was the best and helped us coordinate a room for an extra night. Definitely would stay here again.

Very friendly staff, very understanding, and very pet friendly. They accomodated a rather large group (6 adults and 1 dog). And the stay was a breeze. Comfortable beds, nice rooms, and coffee 24/7. I recommend everyone to stay here

There was pet urine on the floor upon checking into our room. Several days later I receive charges to my Amex for pet waste. When called the hotel to dispute charges, fhe management was extremely rude and did not remove charges. There is no beach access due to the pool torn up.

Ma'am, you snuck your dog in and then you didn't take it outside, you let it urinate on the floor in your room and you left it. Why would you stay in a room with urine on the floor? You were here for a couple days and you just walked around the mess on the floor and never said anything to me even though we spoke face to face during your stay? As I stated on the phone, we do not run that type of establishment, our cleanliness is top notch. You were charged accordingly. I sincerely apologize for the lack of beach and pool. I was not rude to you, I simply stated facts. While we welcome pets, we do expect our guests to clean up after them. Thank you for understanding.

Great reception, both check in & out. Hurricane damage to pool & ocean deck, but Management has worked hard to paint & clean. Decent little breakfast with waffle maker & breakfast bars. This is a gem for the price & who uses pool in January??? I’ll be back cause room was clean & management cares

Great intimate hotel with large fridge, microwave and full oven. Seems like hurricanes have destroyed the front of the hotel and they have not repaired it yet. And the pool is damaged and dirty. Anyways, some parts of the whole beach shore, are like this.

Hallway smelled really bad. It is a beach motel so you get the beach weathered room. Bed and bathroom were nice, which to me is the most important.

Not sure that you have the right hotel. The room that you stayed in here was recently remodeled and has wood floors and brand new appliances. And we take our pest control very seriously.

35 years of staying in hotels, mostly business, this was, without a doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. The check-in clerk was horrid. At 1 AM the power went out on my CPAP plug. I hunted around the room and found a power strip with four or five units plugged into it, which I believe is a fire marshal violation. The bed was atrocious, no boxspring, and a mattress that may have been 3 inches thick. Avoid this hotel at all cost!!!

Our hotel is staffed 24/7, so had you come down or called the front desk with your issues we would have been able to accommodate you rather than having to hear about them in a review after you've checked out. Also, our bed frames have built in box springs, and we use surge protectors compliant with fire ordinance.

Lovely ocean waves, Friendly staff, good price
We had a room facing the ocean and it was sweet having the water so close by. The staff was really helpful and it had a relaxing vibe. I love smaller hotels and motels. Unfortunately the pool and beach access is still out of commission due to the extensive damage of Hurricane Ian but its a really short walk to the park just a door over to get to the beach. The Cracked Egg restaurant is close by for a yummy breakfast thought the hotel had coffee and breakfast stuff as well.

Needs lots of help!
The hotel once was very cute, now very dumpy. They have been renovating for a long time. Still not up to par. Plus the hurricane damage didn’t help. From desk ladies were wonderful and very hospitable.

We are a privately owned hotel with a very small staff who work hard to keep this place unique both in our renovations and our customer service. But you are correct, not every room has been renovated yet... but they will be.
