I live only 45 mins away from Daytona and I try to stay for a weekend getaway every other month or so... This was my first time staying at Beachside... I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel; the staff was absolutely amazing! very friendly and helpful. my room was clean; the pool area is very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend staying here; a smaller hotel so it's not crowded. very laid back comfortable.

Never again, wont stay here again!Posted Apr 20, 2015
Hotel is run down, the front desk clerk unprofessional and dirty. The halls smelled terrible, and our room was not clean at all. The shower ceiling was all rusted, the floors filthy, room smelled. We visit Daytona Beach 2 times a year and have never had a hotel as bad in all our stays.

Location: Near the Dunlawton Bridge and the Sunglow Pier. Near the Ponce Inlet lighthouse and the Marine center.
If you are looking for a hotel in the middle of spring break craziness, this hotel isn't for you. But if you are looking for a quiet hotel with a great view of the ocean, stay here. The private balconies have a great sunrise view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet and clean. Nice size refrigerator. The hotel is near the many restaurants and attractions. Great breakfast/lunch place across the road.

Beachside MotelPosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: The location being on the beach.
Cons: Replace the old carpet, update some of the appliances.
Location: We went to several Italian restaurants (Milanos and Porta Fina), ate at the little Greek diner across the street for breakfast.
This was a great little place. It was not 'fancy' and very dated. We had a wonderful view of the ocean while sitting on the balcony. The room included a stove, refrigerator and microwave ... again, dated but for only staying one night it was comfortable. We would stay here again!

Very old and outdated and run down.Posted Feb 17, 2015
Very disappointed with how outdated and run down this is. Staff was super nice and the rooms were as clean as they possibly could be with this decrepeded outdated and run down place.

This was a very nice hotel on the beach.Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: 90% of this hotel is oceanfront rooms with easy access to the beach. Friendly Staff.
Cons: It would be nice if it had a larger parking lot, but I don't think that can be changed.
Location: The hotel is close to anything you want to see in Daytona Beach and there are plenty of shops and activities near by including the lighthouse at Ponce
We had a wonderful time at the hotel with a group of friends. The staff was extremely nice and cordial no matter what time of the day. The staff was very easy to talk to and always willing to answer questions. The staff was also very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely book this hotel again.
