At check-in, the man at the front desk ( the "owner") was very terse and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in the door. No eye contact, no smile, nothing to make us feel our business was appreciated. While the room was clean and orderly, it was cramped. The microwave's "Start" button didn't work, so we used the "Popcorn" button. The in-room coffee maker leaked coffee from the bottom while brewing. The hotel was full that night, but still very quiet, which was good. In the morning, the "owner" came to the door to tell us we were past our check-out time, though we were booked and pre-paid for two nights. He later admitted it was his error. We declined room service, asking instead for just some fresh towels. The housekeeper asked for our old towels, and when I handed them to her I said "I need four towels," she said, "Right NOW?" I said no, I could go down to the front desk and get them after we went to breakfast. Later, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and was told I couldn't have them until I gave them my old towels, then that there weren't any because they were all in the dryer and they would be brought up later. At check-out, the "owner" said, "I had a housekeeper not show up today, so just leave your door propped open and your keys on the dresser. I can't clean rooms and be at the desk at the same time." Very unprofessional place, though well-maintained. Neighborhood is sketchy.

Nice HotelPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Close to the beach and shopping. And good price.
Cons: The staff's attitude with the guests.
Location: Tons of shopping and things to do. Beach, water park, restaurants, and nightlife pretty close by. Not walking distance but nothings more than 5 mins.
I stayed 4 days and 3 nights in this hotel. We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time and the woman at the front desk let us check in early which was nice.. But other than that, the staff was not exactly the most friendly. The room was in good condition, clean, and comfy. We loved that the hotel was so close to the beach and shopping and we got it at such a good price for it to be on a weekend. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Daytona. We had such a great time and will definitely be back.

very nice for the pricePosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was very clean, large tv, all appliances worked well. very close to my Dad's house. check out time was 10 am, which is a little early for me. Overall, very quiet--except for the pool was not clean enough to swim in. I would definitely stay again. S. Bloom--Clearwater, Fl

Oh don't stay here!Posted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was nasty , holes in the walls, holes in the bathroom door, carpet nasty , blankets nasty. Had I not had tickets to the Daytona race and could have found another Hotel with a Vacancy, would have not stayed once I got there. The staff (owner) was rude and this was the worst place I have ever stayed.
