The place is probably built when my great grandfather was alive.. This place is about to fall down anytime. I would not when I say not I mean don't every recommend this to anyone. No breakfast pool closes at 8:30... And list is on and on and on...

Beachfront hotel

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: update bathroom
Location: Close to everything
We loved this hotel! It is beachfront and close access to main exits and entrances. It is on the beach that you can drive on and the access area is right next to the hotel. The beach front rooms have new beds and linens. It also had a small kitchen which was great! The rooms are clean and pleasing. The sliding glass doors make a lot of noise when opening and my kids like to open and close the doors a lot which disturbed the older couple below us OOPS :/ The pool is nice and they even have a hose to spray off with once you come off the beach. The hotel is not far from the main attractions of Daytona beach and there is also close access to publix, bk, and stores. There is even a miniature golf attractions across the street! We will def stay again if and when we ever return to Daytona Beach. At checkout we asked if we could still use parking, pool, and beach access because we would still be there until the evening time and they let us which was awesome :)

Not what expected.

Booked an oceanview room, through Expedia. At check in were given a room opposite the ocean, was told I would have to call Expedia myself, that they hadn't sent any notes about an Oceanside room. I pulled up my email confirmation and showed the clerk. To "make things easier" she switched our room, giving us an "upgrade". We were oceanside, not ocean view, had a pool view with a sliding door with no screen. Our dream of leaving the screen door open all night to hear the ocean was crushed due to the overwhelming amount of bugs flying into our room. We had key card and plumbing issues from the moment we walked in the door as well.

6th floor had strong smell of stale smoke which can only assmue was from spring breakers. Very nice pool and beach area. This is a small property, which was nice as public areas, like the pool, were not overcrowded. Underground parking was convenient. All in all, I liked it and would stay again
