“Daytona Beach's Finest”

I loved my stay at the Desert Inn Resort. I've stayed at plenty of hotels and this one shines above the rest. The room was very clean and very big for the momeny I paid. The pool deck was awesome, they had a live DJ spining tunes and a Bar and Grill right off the pool deck. The food was great you definately get what you pay for outstanding food. I loved my stay I can't wait to go back anybody coming to the Daytona Area should really check this place out.

“Good Times, Cheap prices”

I recently reserved a lodging at the Desert Inn Resort for me and my family I had some business to take cre of in the area, but I still wanted my family to have fun. The location was perfect you never have to drive anywhere, everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself was great the rooms were clean.Their pool deck was amazing the pool was HUGE and there was a DJ out there spinnig tunes and playing games with the kids. Although I was there on business it was one of the best vacations i've had in a long time. I just can't wait to go back when i'm not working. THANKS DESERT INN!

“Relaxing time”

last week was incredible, Florida's beautiful wheather was so relaxing outside on Daytona's beautiful Ocean scenery. I reccomend this hotel.

“Would use this hotel again”

Right on the beach friendly staff would have no problem staying their again

grill and bar was great - room could have been cleaner - upkeep was poor - view and balcony was great

“I was embarrassed to be staying there”

I was embarrassed to bring anybody back to my hotel. It is barely operational and in severe disrepair.

“Not recommended for a special occasion”

The room we had was ok as far as cleanliness,hallways smelled musty,indoor pool looked pretty yucky. saw a computer room with screens but no computers. Not bad for a one night stay,quick in and out but NO amenities in the room. Had to go to the front desk for morning coffee.

“Worst Hotel Experience Ever!”

The first room they gave us the magnetic key would not work, and the second room they gave us the bathroom was filthy, dead bolt was broken on the door, and there was only one outlet in the room. I was even more insulted when the $50 sercurity deposit I paid (was not aware of this until I arrived-and had to pay in cash) would not be returned until someone went to check the room to make sure it was clean. Really the room was not clean when I arrived, but I need to clean it before I leave. I did recieve it back, but it took a long time to hear back from the person checking the rooms. Worst experience in a hotel EVER! Could have got a better room for less money.

“Very Dissappointing”

This hotel is was not exactly what is expected. Rude hotel manager, poor room service, and poor suite conditions; with high expectations it was extremely dissappointing to stay there.

“don't let the pictures and price fool you!!!”

Yes this hotel it cheap..I paid for two nights and checked out after 1. They claim to have spent millions on renevations...don't think so. It was dirty, our first room, the door wouldn't even latch so we had to pay extra to get upgraded to a 'better' room. They had painted all of the doors, but did a sorry job and paint was on the door knobs and lock. the room smelled like we were in the middle of a Chinese kitchen. The bathtub had rust all around the bottom and a dirty towel was left in the shower. The showers to wash your feet off before going into the hotel were just a trickle of water. The only thing decent I have to say is the woman at the check in counter was friendly and didn't give any lip for me checking out early (I assume she's used to it). You couldn't pay me to go back to this hotel.
