“Great Location!”

“It was nice, Loved the fact it had a full kitchen in the room I was in.”

It was nice couldn't stay the time I got it for had an emergency to deal with but over all the hotel was nice

“You've got to be kidding!!!”

I think our room once used to be a closet. Right next to the ice machine. If somebody was getting ice, we couldn't open our door. I was so dissappointed that it ruined my weekend.

“Good deal for the money!”

Very nice room, better and bigger than expected for the money. The only negative was the bathroom was small and the exhaust fan did not work well enough. But overall a great deal.

“Misrepresented!!!!!!!!!!”

I felt very unsafe at this hotel. It was not clean at all. Front desk staff was unprofessional, people hanging out in reception area. I actually turned my diamond around on my finger because I felt it was not such a great atmosphere. When I went out that night, I made sure I left on the TV and left the closet door open so I'd know there was no one in it when I returned. Great beach view though! Not much else to brag about. I did not eat there, and I left VERY early the next morning without even showering.

“Old and Dingy”

We were there for a funeral that happened to be during Biktoberfest, so we knew that the hotels were packed. We pulled up to the hotel after dark and went into the office and they couldn't find our reservation. They finally found it under my maiden name because that was the name on my credit card even though that wasn't the name on the reservation. Then they told us our room was just upstairs from the office. There was a big sign saying that the rooms were non-smoking, but we walked into our room and the room STUNK! It had obviously been a smoking room for years. We discovered the next morning that the main hotel was behind us and we were in the old building by the road that only had 6 rooms or so in it. We didn't go into the main part of the hotel, so maybe that was OK and had been updated, but our room was horrible. There was almost no water pressure in the shower - it was just a dribble that scortched and then froze. The window in the shower was all moldy. The room had two beds that they called queens, but I swear they were doubles. I might have just thought that because the one rolled to the middle so bad though. The other was like a rock. The only good thing I can say was that we did have a fridge and microwave, which was nice, even though we didn't use them. Parking was sketchy because of all the bikers. Since we were next to the road, the noise from the bikes was horrible too. Overall I would not recommend it, but I would like to see the rooms in the main hotel part.

“Enjoyable stay... will return.”

I had relaxing stay at this resort. It has two pools, a shuffle board court and a grassy court yard with picnic tables and charcoal grills. The continental breakfast was ample but not much seating area. The room was nice and clean and the kitchen was too. The kitchen had most of the accessories needed to prepare and cook meals. Overall I enjoyed my stay... It's not fancy... but clean and comfortable.

“Worked out really well”

Right across the street from the grocery store where we bought sunscreen on the way down to the beach. Daytona Beach Shores is a nice area with good restaurants, nice beaches, nice neighborhoods and drives. We are used to going to New Symrna Beach...not sure why we never went to Daytona Beach Shores but we'd do it again.

Dining

Duff's Country Buffet. Best fried chicken I ever remember having. I really enjoyed the buffet. However, there were some sick customers there and my wife really didn't enjoy eating there.
