“Will stay again!”

Hotel was great, clean room, great veiw, very helpful staff. The only thing is the elevators need updating. sometimes the door wouldn't open, and you had to ride again.

It was a very comfortable hotel. The rooms were nicely sized, we never felt cramped. We got the xtra little kitchenette, well worth it, it came with a little room and a table and chairs to have breakfast together as a family. The balcony and view were priceless. To wake up to the waves crashing outside your window was a little magical. The pools were never overcrowded. The heated pool was very nice and had a sundeck. Short walk to the beach. I have a bad knee and even I could alternate between the beach and the pools and not tire out quickly. If your looking for perfection, then go elsewhere, if your looking for a nice laid back, comfortable, family place, El Caribe is your spot. I can't wait to come again. And this time we want to spend a WEEK!

“feedback”

When i arrived the front desc person explained everything and provided with information that i needed. In my opinion, they need to fix locks on the door so the it won't slam, bathrooms and showers. I felt like i was in a hospital and not the hotel. Ventilation was so noisy. After all, I had a great time.

“Great Oceanfront rooms”

This place is simple and honest. Rooms are a bit worn down, but for the price it is OK. Very friendly staff. Oceanfront rooms have fabulous beach & sunrise view. It is a bit out of the way, so if you want to enjoy the restaurants, mall etc without having to drive, you would be better up staying closer to them, but all by all this is a good place.

“Worked out really well”

Right across the street from the grocery store where we bought sunscreen on the way down to the beach. Daytona Beach Shores is a nice area with good restaurants, nice beaches, nice neighborhoods and drives. We are used to going to New Symrna Beach...not sure why we never went to Daytona Beach Shores but we'd do it again.

“Better than the 3 star we stayed at last year”

Hotel staff was friendly, clean and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone just wanting to spend some beach time and go back to a clean room. Immediate neighborhood could use more businesses but it is within walking distance of alot of places.

“Exceeded initial expectations”

From the street hotel seems very unimpressive..Upon entrance to room and view from room of the ocean..initial opinion went up several notches. Spectacular ocean views from rear of hotel.. recommend if staying to request oceanside room.

“nice older motel”

We had several problems on our trip and thankfully El Caribe was not one of them. It is an older building in a quieter part of Daytona so if you're looking for a deal with less noise and traffic and a terrific view I would recommend it. There are no bells and whistles but it was clean and comfortable. Thanks

“Nice Hotel”

Hotel room was well kept up... Could have had a better breakfreast selection in the morning. Great view of the Ocean from our room. A little far from Downtown Daytona Beach. But all in all it was a good stay with good sleep.
