Forget it !Posted Dec 2, 2013
Cons: The whole place needs redone.
Location: Location is good but that's all.
The place has no coffee pot or telephones and the office is only open from 3:00 PM til 6:00 PM.

I THOUGHT THAT THE PICTURES THAT WERE SHOWN ONLINE DID NOT REFLECT THE MOTEL ACCURATELY. THE QUALITY WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. I WAS EXPECTING AT LEAST A PHONE IN THE ROOM TO CALL THE FRONT DESK BUT IT DID NOT HAVE ONE. I ALSO EXPECTED A PROPERLY WORKING FRONT DOOR, AND THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. HOWEVER, THE LOCATION WAS RIGHT ON THE BEACH AND THAT WAS THE ONLY HIGH LIGHT OF THE MOTEL.

We are so sorry that your expectations exceeded the price of the room, especially as you reserved for two persons and showed up with 5, for which you were not charged. Room telephones are one of the features of travel that is a fatality of new modern communication. We wish you better luck with your next weekend in Daytona Beach.

Amazing Views, Wonderful StaffPosted Aug 25, 2013
The lady who checked us in (the owner, maybe?) was so incredibly kind and helpful. The room itself was outdated, but very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Our room on the first floor had a great garden view and a hammock! The pool was nice and the walkway to the ocean was beautiful. For the price, we felt like it was a great deal.

Don't stay here!Posted Jul 17, 2013
Room was small, dinghy and dirty. Hotel manager stood in parking lot and directed people where to park. Pool capacity was 12 people!

Amazing that you did not complain about the "dirty" room while you were staying - any complaints are being dealt with immediately. Not only did the manager help with parking - but a big sign was posted: "please park between the lines." One would accept that race fans attending the Coke Zero races would be excellent drivers. Next time, at any facility where you stay, you might consider an oceanfront room. Its much more expensive than a side view, but if you can afford it, its worth it. Convenient paid parking is also available.

The pictures of our property clearly show that we a small, tropical oceanfront inn with the pool overlooking the beach. The price of the rooms reflect the location, and especially the oceanfront. The inn has the flavor of Old Florida with the ambiance of Key West. Key West We endeavor at all times to keep a clean establishment.

Parking is very small , to get parked you need a compact car !! Full size cars and trucks is very tuff !!! No microwave , no phone books, no good maps to get around with
Jan 14, 2013 by Merle
We regret to hear that you were unable to park your truck in the small parking lot. Parking is free, for people who are unable to park between the lines there are paid parking available. All guests, the entire 5 of them, who had large trucks, were very accommodating and gladly moved the trucks to more convenient spots in order to allow smaller vehicles to take the smaller spots. Except one guest, who during his 3 day stay, eventually got around to moving his vehicle on the last day of this stay - after he insisted on parking on a small spot where he took up 2 spots. When parking is for free, please have consideration for your fellow guests. When you choose a room with a king bed, side view, free parking, no microwave, as it stated on your confirmation, you opted for the cheapest room, during the most expensive Daytona Beach special event of the year. Each room has one free parking spot - if you have a large truck or trailer, you may want to consider a bigger property with unlimited parking.

OceanfrontPosted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: The ocean view
Cons: The hotel itself is old but no complaints, the staff was friendly.
Location: It is close to the boardwalk and golfing is nearby as well as some shops
The view of the ocean was amazing. I would stay here only if I could get the room with the perfect ocean view..it made our stay perfect. I would stay here again.
