“Great location but needs maintenance”

The hotel is right on the beach and only a couple blocks from the boardwalk. Even though it appears that a lot of renovation has been done (and they were replacing windows), they still have a long way to go. Our bathroom was clean but we weren't absolutely sure about bed sheets; there were no stains or anything like that but they were a little rumpled; maybe just because the maid didn't take the time to tuck them in properly? She did a good job with cleaning the room every day. The balcony was great.

“Great location, but glad I did not pay full price; not that impressed...”

Hotel maintenance left a bit to be desired; floor molding missing in hallway, door frame needed attention in bathroom. Was nice to have a kitchenette. Might have gotten more out of room had we actually been their for the beach. We were in Daytona for the Rolex 24, so we basically just slept in the room.

“Okay place and met our needs”

We wanted a place to stay on the beach and in a good location to area bars and attractions. I was very worried about this place after reading reviews on tripadvisor and other travel places. So I was pleasantly impressed when we arrived. The lobby area was nice and clean. The hotel service people were nice and attentive to our needs, especially by the pool and tiki bar. Our room needs help. It was clean and didn't see any bugs but needs repair. The door to our deck looked like it has been kicked in several times and the lock wouldn't work but there was a chain to use. The king bed was hard. The dresser drawers would fall on the floor when you pulled them out so you had to only open them less than half way. It was nice to have a mini kitchen but the toaster over was disqusting and needed to be replaced. All utensils were provided so that was nice. The bathroom with the toilet and shower was very small. The shower/tub did had rust in it and the shower was very low pressure. Overall, my husband and I would probably stay here again for the price and location. We were in Daytona for the Nascar race and we didn't spend alot of time in the room so it met our needs. The hotel does sit right on the beach. The pool looked cleaned but didn't use it as the beach and ocean was right there. The mini golf course needs repair badly. My husband and I did play a round of golf though. There are repairs going on so hopefully the rooms will be better next time.

“Comfortable for the price”

Hotel was exactly what I expected for the price of the room with a ocean view during Biketoberfest. Walking distance to Main St. Quite considering the event that was taking place in Daytona.

“needs repairs,but great beach”

the hotel is in need of minor repairs, the first night we notified the front desk that the phone in our room didn't work. It never got fixed on our entire stay.Bed linens were not changed.

“Cockroach Motel”

We were pleased with the size of the room, the ocean view, and the kitchenette. We did have a major problem with roaches, but the worst part was that when I reported this to the desk upon my checkout, they didn't seem to care. There was no "I'm sorry", no "I'll take care of it", the guy at the front desk just said "OK".

“NOT IMPRESSED”

HAD A TERRIBLE TIME CHECKING IN AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE ROOM I PAID FOR. TOOK OVER 45 MINUTES AND FINALLY A NICE YOUNG GENTLEMAN CAME TO HELP CHECK US IN. HE GOT US OUR OCEAN VIEW ROOM BUT WE DIDN;T CONSIDER IT OCEAN VIEW, YOU HAD TO LOOK WAY TO YOUR LEFT OVER THE BALCONY TO SOMEWHAT SEE PART OF THE OCEAN. THE HOTEL NEEDS SOME TLC. I'M GALS I DI NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE ROOM.

“Not as bad as people think”

THis hotel is going through major renovations. I was impressed by the activity that was going on. I only have one complaint about the room we stayed in. The beds were totally UNCOMFORTABLE. If you are not going to spend a lot of time in your room, this was a great place to stay. The pool and the Tiki bar were great. THe staff was very friendly and helpful. I am sure the hotel will only get better as time goes on. I will stay here again.
