“Great place to stay”

It was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is right on the beach, and our room had a balcony open to the sounds and sights of the ocean. The morning breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. The room, with two queen beds, a small refridgerator and microwave, was very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was an extra treat!

“One of the Best on Daytona Beach”

This is my second time (and third for my son) staying at this Hotel. And we have been very happy with all aspects of our stay. Very friendly staff, well kept up facilities and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Really couldn' t ask for anything else.

“Friendly to motorcyclists”

Visited the area for Daytona's Biktoberfest. The hotel provided parking area just for the bikes with clean rags and water to bring back the sparkle. The staff was extremely friendly making sure we were happy with the room. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Breakfast was hot and replenished frequently for the crowd.

“Perfect for families”

Great access to the beach. Life gaurds are great and keep a eye on all those in the ocean. The pool was wonderful and beach towels were available for guests. Make sure to get a oceanfront view. It is worth the extra. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every day watching the sunset. Beds are very comfortable. Some of the best I have slept on in hotels. I wouldn't suggest this hotel if you have teenagers or young adults with you. There is not much for them to do close by. Grocery store is a couple of blocks away (to far to walk).

“Great Beach hotel”

This was an EXCELLENT beach front room - and the Staff was very helpful, friendly and generous. The b'fast buffet was such a nice amenity and a great value. They also have warm cookies in the evening and the pool was very clean and great too. The room was very spacious and overall a great hotel.

“Very Friendly Service”

We were very comfortable staying at the Hampton Inn Daytona Shores. We were greeted in a friendly manner on arrival, and were treated very respectfully throughout our stay. The balcony overlooking the ocean was great and is what made our stay there special. The pool area was pleasant with lots of chairs, but the pool did not seem to be heated. Walking on the beach was a delight. It was nice to have the breakfast buffets even though the hot dish each day was not the greatest. Having a fridge in the room plus as microwave makes it very easy to eat light snacks and only one major meal in a restaurant. The hotel is very clean. This is not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable, clean and friendly in a great location.

“Florida Bound”

Only complaint was that one of the elevators was out of service, so long waits for the only working elevator. Hotel is in a good location on the beach - not too busy. The pool is close to the parking and could have been cleaner, but we were there for the beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided - that's a nice touch. Would suggest screens for patio doors - the lovely spring weather is conducive to leaving the doors open, but beware of pigeons and bugs!

“Oceanfront...what more could you ask for?”

Would have liked an upgrade to non-smoking if one was available. You can smell the smoke in our room. I have allergies and asthma and it wasn't the most pleasing smell in there. But loved the oceanfront location!

“Not impressed”

I would just say this don't expect to get the traditional "Hampton" feeling, the hotel is pretty old and far way from what I known the hamptons to be... and don't waste your money with the "OCEANFRONT VIEW" not worth it... on the positive side the breakfast is pretty decent!
