It was great! But the room definitely needs some TLC (bathroom tile and wainscoting)!

Not Worth It

Location: Great
Very expensive for what we received. Some staff were excellent - Terrence (bellhop) but others boarded on rude (front desk check in). The room was fine but not great, needs updating and new decorator. The food was very expensive and pretty lousy...butter was served individual packages in a plastic cup! Not up to Hilton standards.

Beautiful hotel on the boardwalk

The most beautiful Hilton you can imagine loved it we had access to the beach and a lot of attractions around the hotel. Daytona beach is the most beautiful beach you can even imagine. If you plan to go to Florida I recommend you stay at least a couple of days in Daytona Beach. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Expedia for job well done.

Grossly understaffed

Self parking lot was full. Took 30 min to valet my vehicle and another 30 to get it back. Was told my room was "almost ready" over an hour before my check in time and had to go to front desk after my check in time to tell them it had passed. Had to wait in check in line for 20 min just to speak with the front desk. Was personally escorted to room by hotel staff member and had to call MULTIPLE times to receive our room keys. Arrived in room with dirty carpet and torn comforter. I had to squat in the shower to get under the shower head. Room service forgot our waters and never brought them even after we called. Overall terrible service from a grossly understaffed hotel. Will not be returning.

Nice easy access to the beach

I was a bit disappointed with my stay at Hilton Daytona no microwave, I paid for the rate per night and yet you still have to pay hotel fee per night, so glad they have staff like Robert Mohammed. Serger and Kenya they are very nice and helpful

Right on the beach...

Very touristy...but if you have teens and are looking for beach area..it's a good place to be. Restaurant in hotel too pricey for most families but some nearby diners. Parking REALLY bad if not using valet...it is across the street. Hauling luggage not fun. Doing renovation while we stayed..made it more difficult to get to our room. Elevators were slow..and backed up most the time we were there. For the most part..it was a nice stay..and obviously awesome view.

A LONG WALK

Pros: The hotel is fantastic.
Cons: When you are renovating an area, think about how you are going to accommodate handicapped people who are not able to walk long distances.
Location: Again, I was in Daytona for business, and not looking for fun things.
When I tried to park and register, I was told I had to go to another entrance, because the area was being renovated. I got to the new area, registered, and then was told my room was where I had tried to park in the first place -- the South Tower. Regretfully, I am handicapped. When I told the gentleman at registration, I was informed that it was the only room they had available. Now this is probably true, but I would think that being handicapped, I could have been assigned a room where I did not have to walk a couple of blocks to get to it. Other than the above my experience was great. I was in Daytona for business and not for relaxation, but the bed was comfortable.

We loved the bungalow

Pros: The location to the beach and pools and also your helpful staff. The beds were wonderful after a day of heat and sun.
Cons: Overhead protection from the bird poop. I felt like my young 2 year old and 10 year old grandson could contact bird fever from the amount of poop
Location: Bubba Gumps good for food but will never go back to Joe's Crab Shack due to the most horrible service and food
The location was great for access to the beach and pools, Our only complaint was the pigeons dumping on us day and night as we set on our patio. I would like to recommend that you install an awning over each unit that does not have a deck above. Your staff was very considerate to come clean both the concrete floors and chairs but even with their help we continued to walk in and thru bird poop!!!!! Your entire staff from the front desk registration to the last bell hop was very helpful with a great attitude when we requested any type of assistance. We would recommend this hotel but have friends and family not choose Room 125 due to the bird poop situation. .

Nice hotel near Main Street Pier

Pros: Great location and friendly staff.
Cons: They need better management and training for the valet parking service. The lobby gets congested and they should remove or rearrange the furniture.
Location: The hotel is right on the beach, near the boardwalk and Main Street pier.
Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel has a great location and is in pretty good shape. Hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. Front desk personnel took a long time to check guests in. Service and food in the Legends Sports Bar were very good. The biggest negative was the valet parking, which was poorly run and took way too long to retrieve vehicles. The staff seemed to have no idea how to effectively move people and vehicles through the circle drive, parking vehicles themselves and allowing guests to park vehicles that blocked the drive. One time, the driver parked our vehicle right outside the entrance to the garage instead of driving it up the circle drive where we were standing. No one told us that and we waited 20 minutes needlessly. Another time, they sent us to the North Tower and when we got there, the valet told us they did not have our vehicle. Another time, I gave the girl behind the window our claim tag and she said they would get our vehicle. Fifteen minutes later, I checked again, and she had obviously forgotten to tell someone to get our vehicle.
