They only give you one parking pass per room and we met our daughter there so needed two. They also charge you for the one parking pass. Unheard of at a Holiday Inn Express. There was limited dining and not very convenient to anything.

I liked everything. Staff was outstanding. They didn't put on fake smiles and pretend to care. Everything here was genuine. I enjoyed once again and will be back. I've stayed a lot of places but this one will be the only place I will stay when I'm in town. Thanks again for being the best hotel

Beach front was destroyed, supposedly it was under constitution but no signs of repairs in progress, no pool or spa. Lamps inside the room were corroded and look very nasty. Doors were light and I could hear everything happening near by, vehicle traffic, people in the hallway, elevator, etc very annoying!. Extremely overprices for an old hotel. I do not recommend it. Low price guaranteed from Expedia is a lie. Prices at the hotel website and similar website were less expensive but still not worth it.

Holiday Inn express was wonderful. There was a designated gluten-free table and I don’t see that very often! I do not like dealing through Expedia anymore. Somehow they charged Holiday Inn an extra hundred dollars on my bill. Holiday Inn express is getting that back and putting it back on my credit card.

This property was amazing. OceanView from the balcony as well as during breakfast downstairs. The food was amazing ranging from scrambled eggs and omelettes with sausage or bacon as well as pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls etc. and coffee, tea and juices. They are renovating the pool along with several other properties along that beach corridor, but the fitness centre with weights and cardio equipment also has OceanView. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, even for people just going there to walk on the beach or chill out on their balcony to work on the computer. Lots of amenities in the area, even some walkable restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Had too many issues this time
We had some trouble this stay. Elevators weren’t working properly and they put us on the 11th floor knowing that. My husband had to walk up 11 floors with a heart condition. Also there was water on the floor in our room. Again they knew they were having trouble with the rooms that ended in 20 on the other floors but gave us 1120 anyway. When I told them about the water the next morning, they said we were notified but didn’t want to move. Now why would I be notifying them if they notified me? We should have never been put in that room or that floor! These are all problems that can happen in hotels and we get that… but I have to ding the staff on how it was handled. Our new room was very nice but also on the 11th floor. They assured me that the one elevator was fixed, which it was. We have to travel here once a month to help care for an elderly aunt but I’ll probably look for something else next time :(

For some what reason the elevator didnt work at night. Have to walk down stair. From 9th floor. Safety issues if emergency.

The hotel is still recovering from hurricane damage from last year. No pool or deck. They did send an email stating that before we arrived. We still choose to stay at the hotel since we weren't going to use the pool anyway. One other issue was the elevators not functioning properly. One of the two were out of service our entire stay. Once this hotel recovers from the hurricane damage I believe it would be a great destination. It's right on the beach with all rooms facing the beach.
