“I definitely WILL stay here again! :)”
Friendly staff, comfortable/clean room, delicious restaurant for all meals, the pool was GREAT, oceanfront balcony was the nicest and most comfortable I've ever had, convenient location from airport, etc..... I could go on all day. I was in desperate need of a vacation and this hotel certainly lived up to it's Holiday Inn name and all of it's previous reviews. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation :) p.s. The hot tub is TOO hot and you need a big clock at the pool.

all staff was wonderful but Ekta made our honeymoon extremely enjoyable and will return. Our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort was AWESOME!!!!!
“Great for the price”
This hotel had a great staff & accomodated any requests (extra towels,coffee for the room, etc). The only issue we had; they ran out of creamer packets during our stay. The house keeper & supervisor were in the hall as we asked for more, we were treated in a very professional manner and informed they were out and would bring it as soon as possible. I guess 2 days was out of the range of possibility because we got the same response from the front desk the next day! The AC in our room stopped working around 11pm. Maintenence fixed it on the third trip, while we laid in bed. Sounds funny,but it was 1am when it was finally fixed and after having to get up to let him in 3 times we didn't care! I feel we should have been moved immediately in case it happened again. (the thermostat was bad). When I asked at check out to speak to a manager there was no one available. I explained the issues and she professionally apologized, thanked me for bringing the issues to her attention and promised to improve on our next visit. Great response from a business standpoint (I wonder if I could hire her!) as a customer,a discount on this or the next visit would have been better. As a business person I was so impressed with her response, I couldn't get mad as a customer! The pool is extremely well kept, the fire pit areas are both romantic and fun. The hotel was very clean. The pictures are accurate and aside from two minor hitches...it was a wonderful trip. I would go back.
“Nicer than we thought it would be”
Stayed here with 2 young children for a couple of days. This hotel has been renovated and is very nice, although the rooms are a bit small. They have a pool side bar and grill, the food is hit or miss, some very good items some not so great, but it was nice to not have to get in the car and find a restaurant. The pool is nice and has a separate kiddie pool and splash area. The easy access to the beach from the pool deck was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
“PARKING PROBLEM BIG TIME”
The problem that I have with this hotel is parking, I have never seen a hotel that do not have enough parking for their guest, I need to park my car across the street and have to cross a hi way endangering your life. I do not recommend this hotel at all,, believed me guys you are better off to a cheaper hotel with enough parking. Also when booking make sure you want the ocean front and not the ocean view because the ocean view is located at the side of the homeland not facing the ocean, EXPEDIA should make sure that we understand the difference. Do not stay in this hotel if you driving you are driving you will regret it BELIEVE me.
“Wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!”
The location on the beach was fantastic! Their pool was large and beautiful and allowed for a great deal of relaxation. It was a quick walk to the waters edge. The bar and grill poolside was nice as well as the pool facilities for children. It was a definitely a family-oriented environment which appealed to us. There is a grocery store and 7-Eleven nearby for convenience. The room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Wish we could have gotten a beach view but still nice to sit out on the balcony. The only negative was the front desk staff. Not very friendly or warm. Our room was not ready in time but no one seemed to care much. Told us to "just hang out for a while." Otherwise, we'd go back!
“Great hotel, reasonably priced”
My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. The hotel has recently been renovated, and all rooms have an ocean front view. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pier and most of the restaurants were a little too far to walk, but only a short drive away.
“Great Daytona Location!!”
This hotel was absolutely wonderful! At check-in, the lobby is chic and new. The rooms are newly remodeled and also modern and SO comfortable! Beds were great, and the bathroom was gorgeous. I loved every minute of staying there, EXCEPT that the elevators were snail slow and of the 3 elevators, 1 was broken. Every single room has a water view. Spectacular. They also have a pool+hot tub+fire pits. Played bingo every morning and won fun prizes! They don't have breakfast though (as the listing states), they have coffee in the lobby and that's it. This location is about a mile from the "action" of downtown Daytona and all the shops, but for the price, the beach view is amazing.
