DisappointingPosted Jul 21, 2014
Location: Daytona speedway, dog track, poker room, beach. Also the airport makes it handy for flights.
I had asked for a non-smoking room and it stunk from the smell. Also it had pets in it at some point. I had ask for non of that as we have allergy. We bought spray after saying to the girl at desk that it reeked of smoke and the reply was it is a non-smoking room. I had to ask if they had fruit at breakfast and I was told it was coming out soon,it was 7:30 then. Overall it was not a good stay. Will not stay there again.

Great location to track, shopping, & food!Posted Jun 18, 2014
Late check-in can be a hassle due to limited personnel to assist when it gets busy. I do recommend making a reservation. That will expedite your check-in. The rooms were very comfy & clean which I am really strict on when it comes to revisiting a hotel.

Nice hotelPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Beds were comfortable, nice pillow tops.
Cons: sound proofing could have been better, could hear people upstairs taking showers.
Location: Daytona Beach, not far from the track.
A bit noisy, can hear the people in the hallways, kids running, hotel staff talking loudly at 7am. Pet friendly, but when the owner went out for dinner the dog whined and whined. Same for when they went to breakfast.

Older Hotel on main thoroughfarePosted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Ease of checkin, cleanliness of room, basically quiet.
Cons: Had to park on the grass, parking full of large vehicles with trailers that took up 5-8 parking spaces.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, close to Interstate 95.
Special events in town, most hotels filled to capacity, LaQuinta has a few rooms vacant.

handicap access issuesPosted Apr 15, 2014
I requested a room with direct access from parking lot to room when I booked it. When I arrived I was told none of their rooms had that type of access. Had to access my room via a long, dirty, dark inside hallway. Was too late to change to another hotel by the time I found out. Had to get assistance carrying my bag to my room. Also hallway smelled like air freshner used in a public restroom and rooms had peeling paint etc. TV channel selection was minimal. Matresses were hard and lumpy with squeeky springs!! Hotel needs an update. On positive side hotel is pet friendly with no additional pet fees.
