My stay was short, but when I got there my room wasn’t ready. That was fine. I sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes and was told that I could finally check in. I did and headed to the room. When I got to the room, housekeeping was still in there and told me that she told the front desk clerk that she needed more time. I sat in my car for another hour before the room was ready. Once I got in, everything was fine, but it wasn’t a great start.

La Quinta is advertised as Pet Friendly. There was no designated grassy area to walk a dog. There were no grassy areas anywhere except by the pool, and the sign said "no dogs".

Good location right on beach, but its old and is basically a roughing it Motor Inn that still charges like an average hotel.

Our stay here was very good. Our room was as expected great ocean view and clean. The front desk personnel were always helpful and pleasant. We had direct beach access which was super nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was dirty, bathroom door filthy, floors dirty, shoes off, feet were black. Ceiling was obviously repaired due to water leak, breakfast was serioylsy lacking, took a picture of the crock pot used with the sausage gravy, hadnt been cleaned in months most likely. Would not stay here again.

Property waited until the day before my stay to tell me the room I booked was unavailable, regardless of me calling two weeks beforehand to make sure I was getting the room I booked. They couldn’t even give me the size bed I asked for, the hot tub was broken, it hardly looked like they bothered cleaning the room from the previous person. Paid way too much to get absolutely nothing I booked and for everybody outside to be able to look into my room

This hotel was perfect for us. They are super dog friendly, just remember as a pet owner to keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your pooch. Room was nice and spacious, we had a first floor room which was great for our older dog. Bed was comfy, beach view was amazing and the free breakfast did the job! Hot eggs, bagel, biscuits and gravy, fruit and cereal… front desk ladies were very friendly and kind! We will stay again!

The place is a borderline dive. They advertise beach access and pool but offer neither. If your motel is under construction, please let us know prior to booking or at check-in. Put on my bathing suit, headed out and had to return and make other plans. Staff is indifferent. Breakfast is garbage. Need towels or room made up. You need to make a call for that.

I have never seen a more disgusting hotel than this. If you can even call it a hotel. The smell of weed was constant coming out of the rooms, the bathroom was nasty, the room itself looked absolutely nothing like the pictures, had I known it looked like that I would’ve never reserved here. I had to pay $40 extra to park across the street illegally because they don’t allow more than 2 cars per room. Which isn’t noted when you reserve. Overall it was horrible I will never stay here again. The overnight staff guy was super rude, no one greets you at all. Crappy crappy place to stay.

Whole hotel is under renovation. Pool and hot tub unavailable (plus staff rudely yelled at us not to be back there when we were just checking things out.) Front lobby and dining area smelled unclean. Room keys did not work. Only positive is we were able to get refunded for disatisfaction and took our business else where.

The staff were great. The room itself the floor stayed wet all day and night we hadn’t even went to pool or beach and it was just wet from condensation all day didn’t matter what we did with thermostat.
