This is what "I don't care" looks like

Pros: Proximity. Close to Daytona Intl Speedway, free breakfast, right by a Super Target.
Cons: Practically everything.
Location: Near Daytona Intl Speedway
I've been staying at this hotel annually for the past four years. Each year, it gets more and more seedy. Honestly, the place is trashed. The carpets are stained and frayed, things are broken and not fixed, towels are worn out, and in general, it appears the owners are not staying on top of upkeep. To be fair, my room was clean, and the staff was helpful and nice. But there's just a general sense of the owners being unwilling to invest in the property. I don't expect luxury when I stay at a LaQuinta. But I don't expect a trashed hotel either.

Hotel was very nice and I would recommend this place. The only issue that I ran into was that it took a lot of tries to get my key card to unlock my door.

Pros: Location was easy access to interstate
Cons: Cleanliness, carpet replaced
The hotel carpet was ripped, unclean, mold in the bathroom. The outside doors leading to the rooms were left unlocked even during the night. No room key was needed to enter the building.

The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't any kind of courtyard or balcony rooms that we could go and sit nor an outdoor pool.

Good value for money, but not more

Overall its OK, I like that breakfast is available and included, for me it's critical. What i didn't like is the s-l-o-w elevator (can be annoying if you're on 3rd floor), but most of all was service and cleaners attention: upon arrival to the room I discovered that the fridge had leftover items from a previous guest, including a bag with prescription medicine with the guest's name on it. I asked the front desk to have it taken care of. When I returned to the room the following night - the fridge was not touched! The front desk sounded very surprised and verified that some note was made to the cleaning crew. However, the matter was not taken care of. Bad cleaning, bad followup.

Excellent location for shopping, beach, restaurants etc. The only negative was the bathrooms not cleaned well and rust in the tub with limited use of hot water.. Over all I would stay there again..

Easy to find, room musty and had some mold. These are things any Fla Hotel has to take very seriously. Could do much better. Would expect this from a $40 or $50 room, not at this price.

What started out as a horrible experience in a motel not booked through Hotels.com, that we checked into on our own turned out to be a wonderful experience through Hotels.com. From the moment we called Hotels.com, everyone was very helpful and compassionate given hole in the wall that we were staying in. Needless to say, it was a place to lay our heads after a 16 hour drive & no sleep. Hotels.com had booked us a room at the LaQuinta Inn in Port Orange, FL and told us that Joanna at the front desk would be waiting for us. From there on it was an outstanding experience. Kudos to Danielle, Joanna & the entire staff for a job well done on a 4 day stay until we could locate a place to live..... They both deserve praise and a pay increase. Thank you very everything!!
