Pros: Pool area was great. It was very clean.
We were given a handicap room. Not sure why, but the bed was the worst i have ever slept in. I had to hold on to the edge to keep fromrolling to the center. We also had no heat.

Nice hotel, clean and quaint. Never saw the fire pit lit unfortunately but the hot tub was nice.

Pleasant Hotel on the Beach / Accepts Furry Kids

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: The hotel, as its name implies, has a lovely zen quality.
Cons: The floors weren't very clean, and for a place that is relatively new, the sheets are rather worn and stained.
We travel with our 45-pound German Short-haired Pointer, so we were thrilled to find this QUALITY beach hotel that allowed us to have our furry kid for a reasonable fee. Our room was on the third floor, which could have been a problem since the hotel has NO elevator, but Janet willingly helped us carry our two heavy bags upstairs. The balcony offered a lovely view of the pool area, fire pit and ocean. Our dog especially liked being able to go in and out to check out the birds! The main drawback is that there is nowhere to walk a dog except across a very busy highway...an even bigger issue in the rain!

One night stay

Overall okay, just misses on little things. Breakfast is negligible, other than good coffee machine. Weird noise from toilet. Although pet friendly for which you pay extra there is nowhere to walk them. Fairly standard for beach motel.

Everything was great!!!

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe painting the outside building. Improve breakfast.
Location: There is plenty of restaurants around.
The hotel was very nice. Beach front room are the best. The staff always helpful. We always found a parking spot. The only thing, we didn't have a good weather. Nothing they could do about it. But we are planning to come back when is sunny. Love Lotus Hotel.

Motel not Hotel or Suites

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Former Motel remodeled into "Hotel". No Manager on duty, security not existent, rooms typical Motel's "walk up" with one window only facing the parking or beach (there's not one photo of the hotel's front). Small pool, hot tub and beach area look nice, as well as rooms, although extremely small. Nice try in terms of remodeling but lacking everything else to be considered as a hotel, inn and suites!

Okay for the price

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Beach location, firepit, expresso machine in lhe lobby
Cons: Parking lot is way too small for the hotel and no blankets on the beds-just sheets.
Location: Just outside the busy section of Daytona Beach. Good restaurants near by but nothing really within walking distance.
Nothing terrible and nothing great. Just middle of the road.
