Clean and comfy but snobby.Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The room, the shower, the cleanliness.
Cons: The staff
Location: Everything is at least 1/2 mile away.
I arrived early and could not check-in. No big deal. I thought I would grab a bite to eat. I didn't have a car and asked for a recommendation. The girl at the desk suggested several places in either direction - all 1/2 mile away. I asked to store my suitcase since I was on foot and she told me I could leave it in the lobby. Ummm, no. So I hiked 1/2 mile to Burger King in the rain with my suitcase. Not a good first impression. Come to find out (two days later) there is a restaurant that serves lunch NEXT DOOR! Second impression, upon check-in I learned they are a completely non-smoking property. Not just the rooms, the property. So, I had to trudge out to the beach to take advantage of my bad habit. The room was great. The shower was wonderful. The ambiance was pleasant. The wi-fi sucks. The girl at the front desk was a snob and made me feel like I was beneath her every time I encountered her. So, if you want a great room and don't care about the interaction with the staff, this is the place for you!

GreatPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Nice facilities
Cons: More variety for breakfast and fix the ice machines
Location: Great, stores were nearby and great restaurants, not all fried foods and fast foods.
It rained my entire visit but I love being that close to the ocen

Agréable et tranquille, plage a l'avantPosted May 4, 2015

Great beach front hotel!Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Beach access and cleanliness
Cons: More options at the breakfast bar.
Location: Easy access for walking to many local restaurants. If you are up for a good walk, the Daytona Beach Boardwalk is less than 4 miles down the beach.
If you love being able to step out of your room and be on the beach with just a few steps, this is the hotel for you. Immediate beach access, nice pool and hot tub.

Peace on the beachPosted Apr 21, 2015
We love the lotus! This was our second stay and we loved it even more than the first. For starters the hotel has a great location right on the beach. You are far enough away from Daytona to still have peace and serenity but not so far that it is inconvenient. The pool area is fantastic whether it be day or night. You can't beat the fire pit at night the setting is just gorgeous and it allows you to hear the ocean on cool nights. The facilities are very modern and new. I wouldn't say this is a kid friendly hotel more adult oriented but both times we've stayed there have been children and it still managed to be peaceful and relaxing. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

On the beachPosted Apr 1, 2015
The location of this hotel is superb considering that is on the beach. You exit your room, walk 30 seconds and you are on the beach. It looks like it was an old property that was recently remodeled, but lacks of the amenities of the newer buildings, like ample rooms and baths. Rooms are small but not tiny, with windows to the hallways. The bathroom was small but remodeled very modern, all tiled (floor and walls), shower with glass door, etc. Breakfast is just a machine that prepares coffee, cappuccino, lattes, etc when you press the buttons, yoghurt, bananas and/or apples and muffins. That's it. As the lady at the reception told me at check-in "very light continental breakfast". Parking is not enough sometimes, but they have an agreement with other property across the street where you can park. If you keep in mind that it is a boutique hotel and not a Hilton or Hampton or Destin or something like that you will be okay. If you only are interested in the beach, it is absolutely perfect. If you are looking for ample rooms and baths and a good breakfast, probably you will disappointed.

Hotel was ok, expected a better view but both rooms were in the corner next to the lobby, one upstairs one down. The pool was nice and whirlpool too. Fire pit was a nice touch. Not much parking in the lot. The guy at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast was one kind of muffin or a yogurt (not impressed)
