On the beach, but woefully in need of renovationPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location on beach and price.
Cons: In need of an entire renovation. Poorly maintained.
Location: Walking distance to the Boardwalk and most activities.
Checked in early, but didn't get our room keys until one hour past regular check-in time. Location is great, but entire hotel in bad need of renovation.

Horrible rooms!!!!!Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: The lobby was nice and the breakfast dining area was nice. Front desk staff was friendly..... The room I stayed in the VIEW (Only) was nice.
Cons: The owners... Charge what this place is worth.... it's not a resort or hotel, its a poorly maintained MOTEL
We walked into our room and I willing to leave and find another hotel. I was willing to loose the !46.00 we paid for the room plus the 36.00 "resort" fee (9.00 per person) We only stayed cause it was just a one night stay. The room was dirty and the door to the balcony had rotted away that the hole at the bottom of the door was so big you could fit you hand through it. There was a dead moth and dead dragon fly on the window sill. This is definitely good for spring break cause the COLLEGE KIDS!!!! They don't care about what the rooms like. Not a family place at all!!!! I will NEVER return to this place. It's a DUMP!!!!! I asked the receptionist if she has ever seen the rooms, she said no, she usually doesn't leave the lobby area. I showed her pictures of our room and she was shocked and said that's horrible. She stated new owner took over cause it went to foreclosure in February. Hopefully they update their pictures cause the ones that are on the website is NOT what you get!!!! I figured we were paying about $45.00 a square foot....cause the 8X5 balcony view was all this place is worth!!!!

Crap hotel; do not stayPosted Apr 3, 2015
Cons: customer service and
This hotel was horrible except for its good location on the beach. we checked in and our room was filled with a dirty towel and previous food. we once had to wait three hours to get clean towels and toilet paper. the maids only cleaned the room once when we were there. plug ins and lamps were broken. needs serious renovation #wantmymoneyback

Hotel good, but....Posted Mar 30, 2015
Location: Plenty of eateries close, Boardwalk blose
Hotel was right on beach, rooms clean and large. Not sure what happens on most nights, but Friday night, bar next door played very, very loud music and crowd very noisy until midnight and DJ used language not appropriate. There was no beach party the next night, so that night was pleasant. Not sure if that is spring break thing.

Has potential but needs workPosted Mar 22, 2015
I just stayed at the Mayan Inn with some friends for spring break. The best part about the hotel is the location considering the price was relatively low. A lot of attractions are within walking distance. However, the hotel was very outdated and needs some upgrades and a good deep cleaning. I wouldn't stay during a time other than spring break. The staff was pretty nice though and helped us when we asked for it.

Call before you go and ask the right questions...Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Service and amenities
Location: Went to bike week which was close to hotel
Stayed here during "bike week" so prices were more than doubled. When we arrived, we asked where the lounge was on-site. They said it was closed. Nice, during bike week. She said there was a place next door. We went next door but had to jump a concrete wall to get there or walk all the way to the sidewalk (it was raining). The food was terrible. Everything tasted horrible. We went back to the hotel and asked for some compensation and was told if we would have booked directly with them, she could have given us a discount but, we went through Expedia so tough. Then my husband went out to get ice and a soda and had to go up and down each floor only to find one soda machine that worked and no ice. The hotel staff told us to go down the street to get ice. (again, it was raining).Oh yeah, breakfast was included for free. Went to breakfast and it was oatmeal packages and hot water that you fix yourself or toast you toasted yourself. Oh yeah, the balcony door was so eroded at the bottom, you could see day-light through it and the faucet dripped. So, all in all, it sucked for the huge price we paid. (over $500 for 2 nights).

Bike week easy accessPosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: the location to Main St.
Cons: The doors and beds.
It was convenient to have it be so close to Main St, we were able to walk back and forth during bike week. The room was a nice size, larger than most rooms. The front door & patio door both need to be replaced, very hard to close & open. I think others were having the same issue as I could hear & feel them slamming their doors while I was sitting on the bed. The bed, not the best, it had a big dip in the middle which made you roll to the center of the bed. I never made it down to the hot continental breakfast. Right on the beach, great location, close to everything. We would stay there again, a little expensive, but...

Close to the beach and the clubsPosted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The proximity to party places like Ocean Deck, and Razzles
Cons: The bathroom floor was a bit nasty, even for a college student.
Location: Great location. It was right on the beach, close to the boardwalk, and there were some good clubs nearby.
The hotel was nice and close to the beach. Room was clean and there was no hidden fees or anything like that.
