Overall great experience. Hotel could use a little refurbishing.

The best part of the stay was the hotel valet/ car park . Very nice guys. The front desk could care less whether we were there or not, our key cards did not work 8 out of 10 tims. It took 3 trips down stairs and back up to get cards that worked. They did not offer to come up with us. The AC/ unit was being fixed when we moved in our room, so the carpet was wet in that end of the room. Walls paper thin and shook when other guest room doors were slammed shut ( they all slam) the fabric on room furniture and carpet needed to be replaced years ago. The bathroom was so small, we could barely turn around. Needs serious updating. Old plastic yucky shower curtain. The hotel bar was closed before 11:00pm on Saturday night, so when we returned home from dinner we could not order a drink. Honor bar/ fridge in the ample space provided in the room had nothing stocked. No water, beverages or snacks. NOTHING. Location is disappointing, as it is in a run down part of the strip. If they updated and upgraded the hotel, it could be very nice. It was once clearly an upscale place. Would not reoommend.

Had weird spa smell that i didnt like lol but real nice

I chose this hotel based on the website which described the hotel as "historic". The staff was very pleasant...from the valet, to the servers to the housekeeping who saved some items that I left in my room and returned them to me the next day after I had checked out. However, the hotel is in poor condition. I would describel it as dilapidated. The restaurant and bar are outdated. There are not enough elevators to service the number of guests and the stairwells are frightening in appearance. And I may sound crazy but it smells moldy and damp.

Great deal on this hotel + air. Clean room, didn't expect much, but it met the requirements for my trip. Great beach, nice pool, GREAT location.

The rooms were big. Close to many restaurants, souviner shops.lots of lounge chairs by pool.

Great pool area with live music and good little bar and grill.

My husband and I stayed at The Plaza for a few days last month-- we had a fantastic stay! The room was very nice, bed was comfy, and the view of the ocean was perfect. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful (the bartender was super nice and the gentleman at the front desk helped us print out our boarding passes for our flight back home). The pool was open late (11 PM)- that was a nice perk. The beach was clean and there were no vehicles on it. We were walking distance to many shops and restaurants. If we ever make it back to Daytona Beach, we will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel is very nice and yes I'm coming back the stuff was very helpful and the room was exactly what we was looking for ,the room was very clean and on the first floor right at the pool and the housekeeping lady that clean this dates may 31-3 I did not get her name but she need more than a good job she was awesome 20 thumbs up to her all in all this is a very nice hotel to stay in and thanks to every one on you staff

The hotel was beautiful; only a couple comments to maybe give insight to the management. Thr rooms are really small for families. The bath has "no" place to hang towels for reuse. If there were a rack above the ones there it would give guests the space to dry for reuse. There is very little space for luggage and bags. The service was supper GREAT ! Everyone very friendly and helpful. The room service food and prices are simply fantastic. We had our Grandchildren and wanted to give them a special treat. The food came quickly and prepared exactly as we ordered. Can't get over how beautiful the hotel was for the price !
