“Will definitely stay again”

We booked through Expedia for our 1st trip to Daytona Beach. The management and staff are great. While husband was checking in, their groundskeeper stopped to talk to us. I was outside with the kids and 10 mo. old grandson on a very hot day. He offered to take us into the lobby where it was air conditioned. He also told us where the ice machine, pool,etc. were located. Management and staff were great. We decided to stay an extra day and Manager gave us the room for another night for about $10.00 more than the Expedia rate! Housekeeper came by in a.m. and wrote down how many towels we needed and ACTUALLY brought them back. We also got new bedding in the middle of night because baby got sick. The only trivial complaint is carpet was stained (probably from Spring Break kids).

“Nice friendly cheap motel”

This was our second stay at the Conch House in 6 months. The housekeeping staff remembered us and were very nice and helpful. It isn't the fanciest place, but for the price and location to night life hot spots and shopping, it is worth it.

Perfect location, clean rooms, good rates. Seldom do you get what you expect but here was the exception.

“Best no nonsense on the beach”

The rate I was given gave me concern as to what type of accomodation my family and I would be staying in but being on a strict budget I booked. When we arrived the front desk person was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a 1st floor room overlooking the parking lot which was clean and roomy. We were able to put an twin size air mattress comfortably without moving furniture. Our room came with a microwave and refrigerator, small table & 2 chairs. The double beds (2) were clean and comfortable, the bathroom is older and could use some updating but it was functional. The hotel has no amenities outside of vending machines, but the proximity to the beach is fabulous. You have a choice of the pool or the beach. For what my family and I came to Daytona Beach to do it was the best choice and we were not disappointed and would definitely go back.

“Right on the beach”

I read the reviews and was worried... it is a bit old and needs a serious facelift, but for a budget hotel right on the main drag, close to the action and right on the beach, it was great. You get what you pay for, if you want a luxury room stay somewhere else, but we would definitely stay there again.
