Great for kidsPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel and staff is great, Angela at front desk is very professional, customer care and should get a raise in next annually review. Hotels installations are great, my only complain is the common areas are over crowded. I think there are too many rooms for the size of pool and common areas. You have to wake up before 7am if you want to reserve table or chairs next to the pool, if not you are out of luck with no chairs to seat.

as a 60 year old I found it to be too kid/family friendly. condo was more than adequate, the sofa bed acceptable.

Family VacationPosted Jul 13, 2013
Pros: The price was reasonable for all that you get.
Location: The Cove is just North of the boardwalk at Daytona, where there are tons to do. Local restaurants are also nearby.
The appearance of the condos was attractive and clean. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The kids loved the pool, slide, and lazy river. These things entertained them for hours each day. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Cove offered beach chairs and umbrellas for the guest at no charge. Our week there was great and we will stay at the Cove again in the near future.

Family CelebrationPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: The pool area and the beach.
Cons: More soundproofing in rooms.
Location: Close to shopping, restaurants and the Daytona boardwalk.
We were there for a family celebration. Our family had 6 condos and friends in one more. We enjoyed our stay. We were able to use the owner's room one nite to get together. That was much nicer than all going out to a restaurant. We were able to chat much more and had platters and pizza for all. The kids and the adults enjoyed the water slide and lazy river. We loved being so close to the beach. The only downside was that the rooms could have been better soundproofed.

Great accommodations for the moneyPosted Jul 2, 2013
Pros: The ocean view and the outdoor pool area.
Cons: An outdoor bar area for refreshments would have made a big difference.
Location: Close to the Daytona Beach boardwalk area.
Kids loved the slide and lazy river. For such nice accommodations, there was a noticeable lack of food or drink on the premises.

Weekend getaway with the kidsPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: Big fish aquarium in the Lobby the kids loved. 24 hour security is wonderful.
Cons: Need tropical libations and snacks at the pool.
Location: Hotel is on the beach and boasts a great waterside for the kids. We had a blast. Food around is good. There are alit of places to eat and IHop.
I stayed with my family and 2 young kids on June1st-3rd, 2013. I was not happy to find that when we arrived the water features within the pool were not working at the time. Staff said the motor just died and they were working on getting it fixed. You can check out towels for the pool at the desk, which you sign out. Within a day I had to ask for additional room towels which you have to go to the desk for. There isn't housekeeping per se unless you pay for it. Also found there to be only 1 car pass given to guests. We had 2 cars so one car had to be parked at the overflow area which is across the street (busy) by the IHop. There is a commercial building in front of North Tower but you have to park there at your own risk as there isn't an established relationship with that business? Hmm , not sure why there isnt a relationship if you were to offer to pay them weekly for the spaces needed since they are closed? Something management should look into as it is very inconvenient to go back and forth for items. The parking spaces adjacent to North Tower are very small and hard to maneuver in and out of. We rented a 1 bedroom which was a good size. Strange floor plan for a dining room that could've been a smaller 2nd bdrm if they had wanted with its own balcony off it. Otherwise, my stay was good, but parking not so good.

Clean Hotel on the BeachPosted Jun 9, 2013
Pros: Hot tub was hot. Pool was great for the kids. On the beach! Clean!!
Cons: Make sure pool is working! Slide worked two of three days there. Water buckets and falls never worked. Could have been more fun for kids if working.
Location: Lots of good restaurants.
Very nice clean hotel on the beach. We had two one bedroom and a studio. Rooms could be a bit bigger but worked out great!
