Wonderful boutique hotel adjacent to the water

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Also, they have some wonderful extras, such as breakfast in bed & free use of bicycles.
Location: The location is excellent, near the water but within easy walking distance to some great clubs and restaurants.
The Riverview is an exceptional boutique hotel that takes service to a new level. They serve breakfast in bed each morning and they are very attentive to the needs of their guests. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is super comfortable. We'll definitely stay there again when in New Smyrna Beach.

Great place to stay! Close to everything

The room was very cozy, the bathroom was a bit small, and the walls are a little thin. But other than that, perfect!!

Our stay at the Riverview Hotel was delightful. A vintage hotel with thoughtful amenities and convenience to food and entertainment in New Smyrna, Florida. I would go back in an instant! Lovely!

disappointed

Posted Mar 28, 2015
For what they charge I was surprised there was no coffee maker or small refrig in the room. The room was small but well decorated. The staff was for the most part pleasant and helpful but not trained very well. Location next to the river was nice.

Pros: Quaint Old Florida
Cons: Check in was slow
Location: Too much Spring Break! Excellent restaurant next door
Short, but very enjoyable stay. It was just an overnight for us.

Lovely little hotel

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Very comfortable bed/pillows/linens. There were a few items for sale (water and wine) on the table facing the bed with HUGE price tags which was a little tacky. Robes were a nice touch and I loved the l'occitane bath products. The pool was also lovely, but I wish they had a hot tub!

Well situated.

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Superior quality of room, lounge areas etc.
Cons: The quality provided really could not be improved upon at the rates charged. This hotel was excellent value.
Location: .10 minute walk to beach, good shopping on the way. Water taxi right there. Good independent restaurant.
A pleasant welcoming hotel, nicely located for beach access and river transportation.
