“Happy 2012”

we loved our New Year's escapade into the sunshine magnified by the comfort of the hotel, the smiles of staff and a wonderful bar and terrace. We loved the fire pits, but wished they had more or at least arranged differently so that people who aren't sitting around the pit all evening could have a brief access to the fire to make s'mores. It's not the hotel's fault, we didn't appreciate cars driving on the beach when children are playing all over the place. The location of the hotel is nice, easy to get to and the parking lot across the street was good.

“Suprisingly good hotel!”

I was very pleasantly surprised. I don't stay much in Daytona Beach but did not expect to find a hotel of such good standard. I did not stay long enough to take advantage of the hotel's amenities but they lookd enticing (great beach front too). The restaurant was very good and the general atmosphere great. Great bedroom, clean, up to date, very comfortanle bed, great bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay there again.

“Comfort at its best”

We had a very relaxing experience. Although the weather was dreary, we were still able to have a great time at The Shores Resort & Spa. We loved the live music and the atmosphere. The staff was great as well. The restaurant is very delicious as well. The only issue we had was being woken up early in the morning by our neighbors screaming about being locked out of their room. The walls are a little thin. But other than that, it was a very enjoyable vacation.

“Top notch!”

The service was fantastic, the room was clean, and we had a great view of the ocean. My kids especially loved the S'mores kits in the rooms and enjoyed making S'mores over the campfires around the pool (there was a kiddie pool, water jets, and a saltwater pool). The room also had a stocked mini-fridge and snacks available. Guests are able to rent large cabanas around the pool and have breakfast in bed. We would definitely stay here again.

“Good stuff”

It was a very good experience. The staff were very helpful but check-in wasn't til 4 in the afternoon. Not convenient at all. Our room and lobby were very nice though. LOVED the fire pits outside by the pool and ocean; very unique and relaxing. No complimentary breakfast? That was kind of upsetting for how much we were paying for this hotel. It seemed like you couldn't really go anywhere around the hotel without having to pay for something. Other than that, the place was great and very enjoyable.

“Going back!”

My trip was with a friend, which always makes the vacation better, but we enjoyed the room. We had a wrap around room on the end (room 202) which had a ful balcony with comfy furniture. It was very clean. The pool area is fabulous! Another great aspect was the fire pits lit every night on the pool deck. It was so nice to watch the waves rolling and the fire going all at the same time.

“Great view and relaxing stay.”

We stayed four nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff was excellent. They were very relaxed and accommadating. We ate most of our meals there. The food was great!
