you could not stay at a hotel that has any more friendly staff...from the valet attendants to the front dest people....who ever is in charge of this hotel has been truly blessed by the friendlyness of the staff......

My husband and I had a wonderful time while staying at The Shores. We will stay there again, the next time we return to Daytona Beach. The only complaint we have is the music that is played outside from morning to evening. We enjoyed hearing the waves crashing on the shore, so would leave the patio door opened, but the music would interfere with TV, movies, etc. When the patio door is closed, it was no problem. Other than that, the food was excellent; the chef even willing to custom make our meals when requested, hotel was clean, staff wonderful. I would recommend this hotel!

A great luxury Hotel on a beautiful beach. The food is wonderful the amenities are great the staff is nice. What more can you ask for. The price is right too.

“Almost perfect”

Only negative from a 6 day stay is that smoking is allowed in many common areas. Staff said hotel will be going smoke free soon, so shouldn't be an issue in the future. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent service. Limited dining options. Great location, excellent beach.

“Luxury at the beach”

The Shores was a luxury hotel right on the beach. The hotel room was beautiful and the view from the 9th floor was great. We enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel and be at the ocean.

“Great Escape in Daytona”

This hotel was perfect in almost every way. The evening Bar appetizer menu could be better, portions were too small to share and barely enough for one. However the lunch appetizer menu had much larger portions for sharing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and you can't beat the beach view and overall accomodations anywhere in Daytona.

“The Shores”

Very nice hotel with an excellent on the beach location. I was very impressed. One very nice feature was the fire pits. They have fire pits they light at night near the beach. Very nice to enjoy a cold beverage and unwind at night. I was there late, and their bar closed early by my standards.
