“definitely will recommend this hotel”
The one bedroom suit was perfect for my stay. I had a ocean view suit, and would recommend it. The room was clean, but my only complaint is that they couch in the livingroom should be replaced. The location was great, there was stores, restaurants, movie theater all in walking distance. After driving up and down the main road, this hotel was in the perfect location. I would definitely recommend this place.
“Nice Stay”
Only there for two night and overall this is a great place! Had issue with not having hot water but everything else was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
“Great view/Poor service”
Great view, greaty location... terrible service, felt it was very unprofessional
“"Better than the Hilton"”
Very nice hotel..Everything you will need within walking distance. Can't wait to go back. Very kid friendly to.
“Awesome Resort!”
I love going to this resort, this was my thrid trip. I definately return, only drawback is you only get one parking pass so family that came up later had to pay for parking in the garage accross from the resort.
“Great Experience!”
Great for kids! Luxury at an affordable price. My only complaint is that there are not enough luggage carts at check-in. Be prepared for a busy check in if you arrive at 4:30 or shortly thereafter! Staff is friendly! If you plan on spending time at the pool, plan to arrive as soon as the pool opens and claim a chair! Chairs are a hot item and go quickly. Apparently some guest arrive early and place their belongings on a chair and then go back for breakfast. I did notice that some guest brought their own chairs, which I will probably do next time. Coolers are allowed in the pool area as long as they are small. Personal alcohol is allowed as long as it is not glass. Turtle's nest pool snack and bar is reasonably priced for food and actually quite good! Lazy River is awesome! Grandchild loved the water slide! Great location! Will stay again!
“Poor Service”
Checked in on Friday on was given the wrong room. Hotel staff did not apologize for there mistake nor try to fix. My wife and me were both disrespected by the staff and insulated during check in front of other staff members and our chikdren. Will never stay at this resort again. Very disatisfied with there level of professionalism and customer service.
“Ok if you want Daytona Beach”
This is a good location if you like Daytona Beach. It is a time share resort and rooms were recently redone. Pool is very crowded and unlikely to get a chair. They try and keep folks from reserving chairs all day, but not much luck. The lazy river was working, elevators were fine, front desk was friendly, parking was fine if you have one car, but it is NOT a hotel. It is more along the line of a resort condo. Get the bellhop when you check in and they will give you all the input. They do bug you about a time share presentation with some perks if you want. Decent but it is Daytona Beach NOT Destin. If you want the wide open beach they have at Daytona without the traffic, this is your place. It is nice to be able to walk straigt into the restuarants at Ocean Walk and even the Hilton. Go to Down the Hactch at Ponce Inlet. Pricey of course (no more than Bubba Gump), but the food and portions are fantastic. You will see the Dolphins from your table if you are there at high tide. If you want a condo away from the run of Daytona Beach, then go to Daytona Beach Shores (the part close to Ponce Inlet).
“wii be going back”
better than we expected!! loved that the hotel had security everywhere and only those with bracelets can be at the resort and those with parking passes could use the garage. Pools were great, we had so much fun and the beach was beautiful with easy acces right from the pool area- those we know that were staying next door at the Hilton were jealous!! We will be back before summer ends and have already suggested it to our friends and coworkers!! Only problem was 1 elevator broke and it took forever to get from 23rd floor to lobby and it was broken for more that a day, elevators were running slow even when all 4 were working..
“Loved the pools if I could find a place to sit!”
We checked in and got a room on the 21st floor with 2 adults and two teenagers one girl and one boy. They gave us another room in the other tower on the 6th floor after waiting about 10 minutes to get an elevator and move all our stuff the second room looked great. The first night taking a shower we had no hot water, the air conditioner was working but making a funny noise and the second night I think we were all up all night because the air seemed to not be working at all. The pool area was great but on our 3 day, 2 night stay we were never able to find a seat to sit in. The location is great, located right next to the boardwalk. I will not return to this hotel.
