“Extremely happy”

I was very happy with my room. It was so large, not what I expected, I was there for 6 nights, and it felt like home! The only problems I had was that the bath tub didn't drain very fast, and the coffee maker was too slow. But I would highly reccommend this hotel.

We were traveling through Brookings to see if we would like to move to the area.

Other than some noisy late night neighbors, the hotel was a great place to stay. We were there with a wedding party and had a great time.

This is our second time staying here. The room we had this time our bed mattresses were not as comfortable and the closest ice machine was out of order. Our last visit we stayed right across the hall and everything was very good. (the ice machine worked that time) I would stay here again since the price is right and the people are friendly.

I was very happy with this stay. I knew this property when I was in college back in the 70s and it has been upgraded substantially. Great for this small midwestern college town. Has a on-property bar and close to fast foodie places. Also across the street from a 24-hr WalMart so everything is at your discretion.

One night stay. Very courteous staff. Breakfast better than expected.

Staff seemed a little inexperienced. Not a great place, but was clean. Nothing major wrong-met the need and was quiet, but nothing WOW!

“Stale breakfast”

They have a free breakfast in the morning but the french toast was in a roaster...hard as rock...not much else to choose from, a couple sausages...also stale.

“cheap stay”

We only stayed long enough to sleep so the price was right. Our room was clean but the whole building needs some work.

“days inn brookings”

The breakfast was good, the rooms clean. The exterior, especially in the back needs some updating. The outer doors aren't locked, so anyone can come in to the motel. The staff was friendly and overall not a bad motel for the price.
