“I loved it!!”
I spent one night at the Alling House and I loved every minute of it. My room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was wonderful. The food was great.
“Will definitely be returning”
We loved everything about this B & B. The owners were very accommodating. Perfect location to visit Blue Springs and Downtown Deland. We vacationed with our dog and our young daughter and we very comfortable. Would definitely recommend the breakfast if you stay in the cottages. They were wonderful and brought right to our door. Breakfast in bed for $5 per person. Can't beat that!!!
“Charming B&B, Totally Comfortable & Delightful”
Every lovely thing that previous guests said in their earlier reviews of Alling House was true. The main house and cabins are totally charming, super clean and very comfortable. Gerald and Nan were very accommodating, including arranging to pick our son up at the airport and bringing homemade cinnamon muffins to our cabin in the afternoon. (Although my family had breakfast plans elsewhere each day, I would recommend to future guests that they make plans with Nan to have breakfast in the main dining room, based on how charming the dining room is and how good her muffins were.) The four of us really enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the cabin porch and listening to the song birds, too. The grounds are shady and charming.
